It is a shame to see a review left on here attempting to damage an individuals reputation by stating such bold, false accusations but Courtney’s work truly speaks for itself. I don’t usually write reviews, but I can’t even begin to express how impressed I am with Courtney’s services. When it comes to haircutting/styling you name it, she is the ultimate example of professionalism and talent. She always cuts and highlights my hair so effortlessly, while making sure I am comfortable and I am always looked after by her. The end result always comes out just how I wanted it. You will not be disappointed booking with her!!
Had my hair done here for the first time. Not had it cut in quite a while, Courtney had the unfortunate task of performing a miracle and she did not disappoint. She was so friendly which put me at ease and she cut my hair exactly as I wanted it, will definitely go back to her again
I’ve been reluctant to review but as I sit here upset yet again (now a daily occurrence) about how awful and damaged my hair is, I have no choice. I asked for something different this time, essentially a root melt, and a couple of brown foils oppose to full or half highlights as I was going on holiday and fancied a little change, fast forward 6 weeks and I’m now left with severe damage and breakage from 2 trips in June. The first 3 pictures are the finished result after 6 hours in the salon and it was awful, not what I asked for at all. It was extremely darker than the pictures and Courtney, the Stylist agreed on this when I went back for her to fix it. I am now left with the second group of pictures. During this visit I told Courtney that my hair was now becoming very gummy and shown her it snapping off in my hands. She grabbed a piece and gently pulled at it saying it was still strong but you could see by the way she pulled it, she was reluctant to pull it much further as she and I both knew what would happen. I’ve been going to Courtney for quite some time and after speaking with other stylists, I believe she has been overlapping my bleach on root touch ups for quite some time as this is the only explanation as to how 2 trips in a couple of days can now severely break my hair. Courtney herself knows that I rarely got my hair styled with straighteners or curlers after my visits so she knows I am not big on heat damage. I now rarely leave my house as I don’t like being outside with it not being styled, I am fortunate to be able to work from home. I’m afraid to wash it and brush it because of the breakage, she has truly ruined my hair. I haven’t bothered to contact the salon again as I will not step foot in there after this. I just want to apologise to Kev as he did try to resolve the situation. I didn’t feel very welcomed by Courtney the last time I went there as I am assuming she was not happy about me complaining, she didn’t apologise and barely spoke two words to me. Even when Kev told her not to charge me for my second visit, she said “but she’s had a cut now” so she even tried to get me charged for the cut which was essentially, her damage! The colour is awful, the root melt is awful (also not a root melt) and my money piece is all snapped along with the top layers of my hair - I don’t have layers I always have a straight cut. I’ve never had my hair in such awful condition before. The photos don’t do it justice or show the full extent of the damage she has caused.
