Had my hair dyed purple it was bleached first then dyed and a hair cut it came to £70. The lady was really nice and quick and it's came out brilliant!

I took my 91year old friend here today for the first time & what a find! Amazing! This is such a quaint little salon that is homely & comfortable, you then get greeted by a warm & welcoming lady that is known as Sandra! She is the star behind it all, but not the star attraction, as you are then welcomed by a very handsome, loving gentleman, known as 'Cat', the salon's very own cat...called Cat! Now this is the point when I think it just couldnt get any better! 'Cat' tends to keep busy by guarding your belongings & bags for you, so you can simply concentrate on getting pampered. Having your hair washed, cut & styled or whatever else it is you require as Sandra's capabilities are endless. Relax you can, while sipping on a nice warm cup of tea or a bite of toast if you fancy! Sandra's expertise doesn't just end at wonderful hair cuts & more, she also has an amazing quality for understanding each & every need of every individual. We were made to feel more like friends than clients & her approach towards the elderly is what I'd expect from a 5* private nurse not a hairdresser! This is where the saying 'above & beyond' is so fitting because that is exactly who & what Sandra represents. Well, with my elderly friend not really knowing how to explain what style she wanted, as she suffers from dementia, & me never taking her to have her hair done before, so I didn't know either, Sandra didn't really have anything to work with. However Sandra did what I suppose she's always done, worked her magic & created a masterpiece! Giving my friend a new hair style turning her into new lady, oozing with confidence & satisfaction that money alone just can't buy! My friend & I were amazed & yes, my friend certainly did look like a new woman! Just when I thought it couldn't get any better than it already was, I found out that Sandra's husband delivers a very friendly & personal taxi service. (Within a very small radius obviously). For those that are too elderly to walk or catch a bus they can get picked up & dropped off at The Salon, & then when they've been turned into a beauty queen they will get picked up & driven home. All carried out by a gentle & compassionate man free of charge! What a thoughtful & caring service. So you see, this isn't just a hairdressers/beauty salon, it's a place ran by caring people where the elderly are enabled to still endeavour to look after there appearance when their mobility problems won't! For everyone else it's just a nice environment to be in while you meet new people & get pampered by a very qualified lady that makes you feel very much at home! I will continue to recommend people here because the service we received was truly outstanding! Thank you Sandra, thank you Cat!
