A higher class of what we call poo shops. (To explain in a simple manner. I've been out to the town centre, my wife asks, where have you been? My reply, oh just to the poo shop. Her reply, which one? We have a few in our area.)That is a store that sells a lot of tat, and other goods that you know you don't need, but have to have anyway.
Night mare to get around I went today on my wheelchair I had to move baskets to get around the store. Once through till the bags stuck out so far I struggled as there was also something on the opposite side. Couldn't see past the bags. Never again!
I am a regular customer of B&M in Ashton in makerfield I am very sorry that the image of that big store was ruined by a RACIST AND NEGATIVE employee The woman who is employed there does not know how to wait for customers, nor how to smile or say hello. today I felt more disappointed than ever that she tried to ignore me by throwing away the products I had bought with irony and ignorance. this is not normal for me at all someone needs to turn on the cameras and observe the racist behavior she continues to engage in all the time I bought £75 worth of products and should have been happy but was very disappointed someone to take measures not to drive away the clientele
Why B&M insist on obscuring products by putting ridiculous stacks in the way is beyond me. They think it makes commercial sense. It doesn't, makes it look tatty and isn't conducive to selling. Having been in retail 35 years I have never seen such a shambles. The stacks aren't even killer products, and there is enough space to merchandise more effectively.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Close to home very convenient.
Very wide range of goods in store and all of good quality at affordable prices. Store is always clean and staff are friendly.
Not as good prices as previously, but still good value and parking outside. Interesting more items than my local one this time. MORE - just revisited to find a drink that is not in my store and they came good again!

The store is very well laud out and has a very big selection of goods from food, confectionery, beers and wines to homewares. The only reason for the low score is the time it takes to get through the tills especially the lottery till.
