The practice manager Fatima was wonderful - patient, understanding, and very helpful during my visit. Highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for excellent care and a supportive team! The young male dentist was amazing too!

I had a great experience at Walrus Dental Care Halifax! The staff were friendly, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. The dentist took the time to explain everything clearly and provided excellent care throughout my visit. The clinic is clean, modern, and welcoming. I really appreciate how efficient and attentive everyone was — I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending them to friends and family!
I’ve been coming here for about a year now and just had 2 lots of treatment for a root canal. The staff are brilliant and so accommodating when I have had to rearrange appointments. Madiyah and Naila carried out my treatment and were incredibly kind and patient as I was so nervous. They instantly put me at ease with their professionalism and calmness. They talked me through everything so well and were so understanding of my nerves, I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I have also brought my son (9 months) and they were brilliant with him too. I would highly recommend, especially if you are a nervous dentist goer like me.
I have used this dentist for approximately 9 years. I find them to all be really friendly and accommodating. I particularly like the fact that you still see the dentist and a separate hygienist unlike some others. It can be busy to get through on phone but its worth the wait. The waiting room is comfortable but the dentist seems to be very good on time keeping and I have never had a long wait. Highly recommended.
Chipped my front tooth, not registered anywhere and due to go on holiday, Walrus booked me straight in to take a look and they are doing treatment today. The receptionist was extremely helpful and pleasant, the dentist and assistant were lovely and reassuring, can’t thank them all enough, Stacey Johnson

My wife was late by 5 minutes and they struck her off. She had missed an appointment by accident due to her work schedule and just plain forgetting like we can all do. Never missed an appointment before and has never been late for over the 15 years she has been going. The receptionist was rude and unpleasant. She was told that she had to pay private now she had been struck off the NHS register and when she did pay the private fee to rearrange the appointment, she was then told that the dentist would have seen her anyway. I myself have been going for under 30 years and and it has progressively gotten worse with rude staff and prices that do not reflect the treatment. I would rather pay a mechanic with a pair of pliers than go back there!
We are so grateful for this practice being nearby, such a life saver! They saw my daughter who wasn’t registered with anyone but they were really helpful and friendly and facilitated a new registration for her so easily. Thank you!
There a Disappointing dental practice, where the professionals and managers don’t take patient care and communication seriously. Appointments get cancelled last minute, even when time is taken off work to attend. Overall Walrus dental care needs shutting down. There receptionist are also very rude and unhelpful.
