   Took my son today who is autistic and struggles massively with communication. After a disaster with a previous barber shop he refused to have his hair cut for a VERY long time. Frazer (I think the barber was called at GS) was absolutely fantastic with him and cut his hair from long almost shoulder length hair into a gorgeous short cut. He was brilliant with my son and massively helped reduce his anxiety. I think this has definitely helped my son move forward with feeling confident to now have his hair cut regularly. A happy son and a happy mom !! Thank you !!

   This barbers is great, I work next door so go about every 3 weeks. I recommend it to ladies who want short cut. I have number 4 on side and 5 on top. I just say cut it like it was a mans!! It always looks great, they take their time and fade it in after. I like neck shaved and square back It's not expensive, so much cheaper than going to ladies hairdresser and a better cut Highly recommended

   These barbers are good value for money and service is good too... Nearby parking is free for the hour too so not too bad... They usually offer coffee while waiting and seating is good... The actual hair cut is good too and the staff all seem well trained... One time I felt my hair were getting pulled with the avocado'scissors and mentioned it to the barber who changed the scissors in response... Overall pleased with the cut and did get the wash at the end too... One thing I missed in my last review was the fact that there is a loyalty card scheme too where you get a stamp for every visit and the 8th cut is on the house!

   Great place, friendly staff but very expensive for what you get. I felt the service was rushed. I was done within 10 minutes and charged £17!! Can't knock it though. Got the style I asked for!

Faisal and Mohamed are both fantastic barbers - they’re patient, precise and friendly. I highly recommend Golden Scissors in Shirley if you want a high quality hair cut with great customer service at a reasonable price.
