   My disabled sister had a tooth taken out by Doctor Manny, he was accompanied by Nurses Olivia and Lavan who were lovely. Dr Manny was very attentive and caring towards my sister. He did the procedure so effortlessly. So impressive. Thank you Dr Manny.

   The restorative department is very professional, well organised and slick. I can't fault the service from the department, from reception to consultant, everyone works as a team to deliver a friendly and professional service. If they could replicate this way of working across all NHS outpatients then it would be an outstanding national service.

   Got an appointment for the end of June and was cancelled the day before. Rang the number on the message to rearrange and was told someone would ring me back within the week. 2 weeks later still no phone call. Phoned up again and was told the same thing no timescale just await a phone call. This was supposed to be done as an emergency and having to wait in pain for over 2 months from being referred without any form of information is getting a joke.

   I visited today even without a booking since I had an emergency condition. I visited a private clinic before and they insisted to extract my wisdom tooth. The nurse, receptionist, the student doctors and the main Doctor were all very nice and kind. They analyzed me very deeply and answered all my silly doubts patiently. I am totally satisfied with their service and hospitality. I don't remember the name of the male student who attended me first. He was very polite and kind. The waiting time was only 10 minutes. The private doctor which I visited was misleading me to get a tooth extract and the Leeds dental institute dictors told me no extraction is needed as the teeth is perfectly fine.

   If you need to have oral surgery at the One Day Unit, do not worry, you are in very good hands. I have had surgery here twice in the last ten years, and each time the clinical teams were beyond brilliant. They take the time to explain everything and go through any questions or worries you may have. They will put you at ease, and you will get the best possible care.

   I can't praise this department enough. Professional and courteous from start to finish. The Consultant listened to me and took on board what I said. A long standing issue that had eluded other places has now been resolved. So grateful.

   The students are incredibly great. They welcomed me in very nice way, they've done many things to me. They did root canal and crown added as well. I wanna thank them for that. The place is very clean and tidy. The first time I got lost because it's really big place and I don't know where I go. There is a bus stop downstairs.

   Had a seminar in this building in the first week this semester and the seminar room is pretty hard to find. Elevator here is very slow and crowded though it has so many stories. Cafe here can't provide cold still water so get ready for boiled hot water.

   I went to the dental institute one day unit today to be put under general anaesthetic for my wisdom tooth removal. The staff were nothing but amazing, they made me [a very anxious person] feel calm and like everything is and would be okay. They took care of me and made sure I knew all the information about the surgery before I go to sleep. If you’re getting you’re wisdom teeth removed here all I can say is that it is going to be completely fine and you are in good hands. Thanks again for all the staff’s help today! - Luke Lister
