I cannot thank Mr Michael Stokes enough for the excellent care and treatments I have recieved from him over the past 10+ years. Mr Stokes is very approachable, a good listener and generous with his time, consultations are never rushed or hurried with treatment plans and options explained in detail and no pressure to make a snap decision. My recent procedure was completely pain free with minimal recovery time. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Stokes to anyone seeking an outstanding dentist. Also thanks to the Nurses and Receptionists for all their hard work, nothing is ever too much trouble.
My kids have been coming to this dental practice since they were 2 years old, I would NEVER go anywhere else. Dr Stokes is gentle, engaging and friendly and explains everything to the children in a simple way. On time appointment, Michael was welcoming and went through health check and my hopes before a very thorough examination of teeth and gums, some bits quite painful but I knew this would be the case and necessary. Can't praise the staff enough. From the moment you enter you are greeted by smiling faces putting you immediately at ease. The reception staff are friendly and professional. The treatment I have received has been fantastic. I had a real fear of going to the dentist before I attended the practice but no more. I now feel comfortable knowing I am getting the best of care provided by specialised professionals. I would not have gone anywhere else for my Implants and other treatments . I attended Wickersley Dental Practice today for the first time . I was referred to them by my regular dentist for a somewhat tricky tooth extraction because he did not feel confident in performing the procedure himself. On entering the premises I received a very polite and friendly greeting from the assistant and couldn’t help notice the immaculate and very nicely styled reception lounge that helped to put me at ease right away. This was going to be my first tooth extraction so I was feeling more than a little nervous. The procedure it’s self was carried out in an extremely professional, well informed and friendly manner . Glyn the oral surgeon put me at ease right from the get go , and explained what he was doing at every step of the way. Not at any time was I in pain and the whole thing was over with in about 30 minutes. He also gave me my tooth back as a memento ! I would highly recommend this dental practice and would definitely visit them again if I needed to. Many thanks to all involved !
I have been with Wickersley Dental for 7 years now and I have to say they have always been amazing. Never pushy to get unnecessary work done, always explain everything and all options. Both my children also go and they are great with them also. Highly recommend ⭐️

As a patient who was scared of dentists, and very self conscious of my front teeth, the entire staff were lovely from day 1. From the first appointment to the latest I've been made to feel at ease and feel relaxed. I was really scared for my last appointment as I had to have some composite filling work done.... to remove some decay and staining from my top front teeth. something I'd never had before. The process involved some drilling and cleaning and i was so scared of the pain.... i did not feel a thing. The whole process my dentist and his nurse were so lovely throughout asking me constantly if I was OK. When I was done, they showed me the results in a mirror and I actually cried. Happy tears! Could smile again without feeling self conscious. Special thanks to Mr Michael Goodman and all of the team there. Truly appreciate it more than you'll ever know. P.s Matthew and everyone on reception...... absolutely awesome. So professional and so welcoming and lovely.
