This is both an expensive and highly dangerous dentist. Nearly £1k for 1 extraction which he literally knocked out with blunt force rather than use forceps. I ended up in quite a lot of pain so went back and said another tooth needed to be knocked out. He kept shouting at me over and over telling me it was my fault for smoking when i hadnt for years. Earlier in the year id been to a cosmetic dentist for crowns to improve my smile and there was no issue with mobility with that tooth then. Wanting to get a second opinion went to another dentist in newark kirkgate if you're intetested they are fraction of price and very professional. They said i had a bad infection and thats why i had pain. They prescribed antibiotics and it fixed issue. But the tooth was still mobile. I went back to my cosmetic dentist and what ive learned since is shocking. There is evidence from the gum healing and from xrays before and after that its clear it was a violent extraction. I will be going legal with this make no mistake. I have evidence for the no win no fee solicitors. But also his advice to knock the tooth out would have caused issues for me later down the line. You need an opposing tooth otherwise the tooth below will eventually fall out too, his strategy could have affected my speach and bite. Creating no end of problems in the future. The best course of action to fix what he caused was an expensive implant which ive just completed first stage of. Also the fact the infection went untreated meant i ended up with bad granulated tissue. This meant the implant couldnt go back in the original socket and they needed to find an alternative spot. Leaving that infection could also have had serious consequnces as i have MS which he would have been aware of from my form. Also he said I needed a filling which the other dentists have said is unnecessary. This man is a charlatan i doubt hes properly trained. I have clear evidence of negligence and will be going legal with this. Be warned! Agree with previous comment, tge receptionist and nurse are lovely. I recommend they get a new job though.

Under no circumstances use this dental practice. After attending for 16 years, 10 with the same one who left in May which I didn’t know until I turned up for my appointment. Saw another who spent 20 minutes telling me what was wrong with my teeth and nearly £4k to put right! Put complaint in wasn’t interested blamed me for ignoring advice given .,, only spent 2 minutes in chair at any appointment so what advice are they giving in that time! They wouldn’t budge on any of my concerns so decided I wouldn’t go there ever again. Have registered at another dentist local to me who has advised my teeth are in a poor condition and have been deteriorating for years. I’ve now got to have loads of extra work done on my teeth to put right which these cowboys have let deteriorate for 16 years. Plus they are never on time a 9am appointment is in reality from 920 onwards always an excuse as to why late. They are a disgrace and avoid at all cost. They don’t deserve any stars

Myself, husband and 2 children have been using this practice for 18 years but recently the service has declined drastically. Yesterday I saw a completely new dentist. I don’t even know his name as he didn’t introduce himself or explain why I wasn’t seeing my usual dentist. I sat down. He asked me to open my mouth, bite together, lift up my tongue. He then said, ‘all good, see you in 6 months’. He didn’t even use his implements or fingers to touch or check any of my teeth. The examination took 30 seconds and I was charged £79 There was no personal care or attention. And the price has doubled recently for an appalling customer service.

A real gain was finding this place as for the first time I had two fillings and no pain. I am terrified of dentists and this is not helped because I can't open my mouth very wide. Today I walked out with no pain at all and when I need to breathe he stopped and gave me a minute. I was given water to sip and not the chemical stuff and the whole experience was reassuring and pain free. Absolutely perfect.

Extortionate prices, dentist is rude and arrogant. Hubby needed 2 teeth removed due to an absess. Was told they needed to be removed now which we was happy to proceed as he was in agony. Got the treatment plan whilst waiting and numb. He needed a denture. £3.0000+ and was being charged £990!! For 2 simple straight forward extractions!! Have cancelled future treatments and will not be going back nor will I recommend this practice to anyone. I've had several quotes from other dentists telling them to quote for best sort and most cosy it could be and ALL of them come in at half the price! Feel sorry for reception guy. He was nice!

I visited this dentist and was told I needed a number of fillings totalling £1700 including the appointments. Having thought this was expensive compared to what my partner paid at another practice I booked another check up elsewhere. The other practice advised I needed two fillings compared to the six advised by Collingham and stated “they cannot see where the others are needed”, they also completed X-rays (which were included in the appointment fee, no extra cost). The second dentist totals £419 including a clean. I would be very wary of using Collingham.

Richard is always very pleasant, welcoming and helpful on reception. My dentist ,D Patsiamanidis , has looked after me well and is good at explaining what can be done if treatment required. Thanks to both of you.

My wife and I have been loyal customers ever since the practice opened in Collingham. The service we have received over the years has been first class and we are pleased to be NHS patients. Now in our 70s, our teeth are in good order and it is a joy to be welcomed by Richard and after treatment to take the 5 minuite walk home for a well deserved coffee.

This dentist is a complete rip off. they don't care if your in pain it's your money they want they are more expensive than many London dentists. And for a large filling £395. I got up and walked out but was charged £55 fir a 1 minute consultation. These people need to be reported to the Dental Ombudsman. Previous dentures cost nearly £5k and they don't really fit properly.

My wife and I have attended Collingham Dental Practice since we retired here in 2005. We have always been made to feel welcome. Mostly we are NHS patients but occasionally have opted to have private treatment. In our experience the quality of service has never been less than excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this practice.
