The staff on the shop floor were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience at the till completely let the visit down. The cashier was very rude and handed me a clearly used bag that appeared to have been returned by another customer. This was unhygienic and unprofessional. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Purchased pair of trainers which were the last pair meaning it was the display pair, the store was very busy so I didn’t want to try them both on to speed up the process but we were assured they were fine. After purchasing I checked them and they were very different colours, a manager came over and said we could refund them and that she would meet us at the till with an iPad so we could order them. The queue was massive but we queued as I really wanted them. Got to the front the manager was no where in sight and the team member said she wasn’t sure if we could return them, why was this not communicated to the till staff before we got there!? She went to other team members around her and they just stared at each other, completely clueless. Finally they were returned with no apology for our wait or anything. Such a lack of customer service, they don’t have a clue.

Terrible service, everyone looked confused including the manager. We had picked out 4 pairs of trainers and the man said he put the trainers behind the till. When we got to the till they only had 2/4 of the trainers and when we questioned where the other 2 went they wasted half an hour going around the store "looking for them". When I started asking how long it would take they said someone bought them already even though they were behind the till. I asked for the manager and she was very rude and had an attitude. All of the staff was horrible and I will never be going back.

Nathan at JD Bluewater provided outstanding customer service today 13.09.25 He recognised I was looking for a certain product. He checked out sizing and in a flash I was a very satisfied customer with brand new leopard print Birkenstocks and ready for my holiday tomorrow. Nathan provided me with tips to keep my new sandals mark free by selling me a suede eraser. Outstanding, approachable and professional was Nathan. I will always shop in Bluewater JD from now on.

Went into store to purchase a pair of trainers. They had the size, but it took forever to find them leaving me hanging around waiting for 15 minutes. Finally tried on and went to pay. Upon paying cash the till worker and so called manager Remi were vile. One of my hard earned £20 notes had a small corner missing which they would not accept under any circumstance. This is legal tender and carried both serial numbers complete. It was completely acceptable to take with no risk. Remi the so called manager, young girl with caterpillars on her eyelids needs retraining in how to treat customers with respect, either that or sacking. I personally believe she was pretending to be manager whilst only being a shop assistant. I was going to spend more money with your firm but will be purchasing elsewhere from now on.

Worst staff! Asked someone for pair of trainers, he went a got the size and passed us onto someone else. We told her that we would get them and said we was here to exchange she didn't say anything and passed the trainers onto another worker and he walked away with the trainers without saying anything. We stood there for 20 mins before going to find someone who said they were at the till. But no one told us and we was left standing in busy shop with a toddler. The staff seemed to have no interest to help or be there. All staff looked 16-18 with no care for anything standing around chatting.

The worst trained staff and the worst click and collect system of any company EVER. Ordered online and then had to queue up in a queue of 40 people and then waited more half an hour while the staff tried to find the item that we were told would be ready for pick up YESTERDAY!! Two staff members pushed in front of us while we were waiting with no 'excuse me please '. When coming out of the store, I asked politely to get past another member of staff who was standing chatting in an aisle, blocking the way. She shouted, "YEAH! Go on, then!! Yeah!! Then, another staff member threw out her arm, pointing to something while chatting to a customer and I had to avoid being hit in the face. No apology! On coming to the exit of the store, there was another member of staff chatting with his mates for a fair number of minutes. If I was the manager at the store, I'd be really concerned, but maybe they don't care either?! And if I was the company CEO, I would be implementing some staff training!!! I'll be reluctant to return and will certainly be sharing my experience with as many people I know as possible. As I understand it, Click and Collect is to help avoid the queues, for the staff and customers. Obviously that's NOT the case with JD Sports.

Waited 15 minutes after asking for a pair of shoes in my size. The manager was too busy having an argument with 2 other women to even respond to me. They literally can't sort a system to find and bring you a pair of trainers. We were about to buy some for our baby too but after they ignored me I thought we would be better spending our money elsewhere

Such friendly staff, anyone that saw me asked if I needed help. The music was pumping it felt like a party. The centre closed at 5pm but there was loads of customers inside and no one pressured to hurry up and leave or stand by the door hinting it's time to close as you do find in most shops. The staff were happy for me to wonder around and asked if I needed anything and answered a couple of my query. One guy even offered to help place an order for me to collect despite it being so late. Highly recommend this store.
