Alastair explained very clearly the treatment he suggested I receive and why. It involved a local anaesthetic and a filling. Throughout the whole procedure I felt no pain whatsoever. I am extremely grateful for the treatment I received and the care taken by Alastair and his assistant.
Lovely dentist, always very accommodating to your needs and schedule. Seen quickly and staff are lovely. All dentists and dental nurses are lovely! My most recent appointment was with Eve she was nice and thorough and explained everything she was doing/ what she had found really well. She was also just very friendly and good at taking a history/ addressing all your concerns. A great practice :) !
I visited Hurlfield Dental Practice today, very very nervous after not visiting the dentist for many years. I was recommended by a colleague who uses this service. The Dentist was so wonderful she talked me through everything and explained what she was going to do. She completely eased my fears and anxiety. The dentist put a treatment plan in place and I am more than happy to visit again. Thank you so much, I wish I would have visited earlier.
I had a new dentist nurse (not sure what her name was) but she was really lovely made me feel comfortable and gave me some good advice about my teeth. As I have not been to the dentist for a while. She was really professional and very good at her job
Really like Josephine as a dentist, she takes the trouble to clearly explain the course of treatment and I feel very at ease with her working on my mouth. I have not a bad word to say about her. However I am not too happy about the denture I have had fitted as it is a bit loose so I might have to buy some Fixodent, but the biggest problem is that it has affected my speech as it comes into contact with my tongue and worse still on certain words I now have a whistle. Working in a predominantly male environment I have been mercilessly ribbed all day for it, which does nothing for my self confidence. As I previously stated it is nothing to do with Josephine but my star review is based on the denture.
My dentist Mrs Weeks is a lovely, kind dentist, always has a smile and offers good advice and the dental nurses are friendly and polite. The receptionist was slightly rude when I told her I couldn't accept an appointment she offered because I was working that day, I apologised and took the next one offered. The surgery is always very clean.
I had to visit the practice for my tooth removal. The treatment and service provided by James Ritchie, was very welcoming explained the procedure and after care during the treatment. The treatment was brilliant, no pain no problem whatsoever. I highly recommend Mr Ritchie and the practice for all my friends and family ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I booked an appointment within 2 weeks from making the call. I then needed another appointment for a filling was again within another 2weeks. There was very little delay to either appointment. The treatment was very well explained and good. In my view to get an appointment within 2 weeks is fine. I have been a patient at Hurlfield for about 20 years and have been with 5 different dentists. They are all very good and professional so I am very happy to recommend Hurlfield Dental practice to friends and family.
