New patient here and all the staff were friendly & efficient. Haroon (the dentist) made me feel less anxious, & took time to explain my treatment options. Very pleased with the appointment.

I came to this dentist saw the black guy told him I’m on methotrexate gave me antibiotics I shouldn’t have he’s got a right attitude also. So had to go back with my son for him to replace my antibiotics he was nice as pie as my son there he gave me back antibiotics that I shouldn’t have. Any way I ended up more sick the antibiotics didn’t agree with me I was so bad that 111 called an ambulance for me.

My first time here was a awful experience. How Dr Jovita treated my bf who was only speaking on my behalf to make sure they had all the right information as i was answering them wrong amounts to abuse. Disgraceful behavior shouting at him. Never witnessed anything like that from a dentist. He was acting like he had some kind of authority basically telling my bf not to speak. Who is he to attempt to insert control on someone and tell them whether they can speak or not

I'm writing to express my extreme disappointment and distress at the way I was treated by Dr. Jovita during my partner's first appointment on Thursday, 20th November. As her advocate, I was subjected to verbal mistreatment and emotional distress by Dr. Jovita, which was completely unacceptable. During the appointment, Dr. Jovita shouted at me, telling me to stop interrupting and letting her answer for herself. He became aggressive and dismissive when I tried to correct information about my partner's medical history and allergies when she had provided incorrect information. Despite me remaining calm and respectful in my approach to him, he threatened to cancel the appointment and asked me to leave the room, citing that our conversation was making him uncomfortable. My partner is now anxious about receiving further treatment at this practice. I am also considering finding a new dentist due to concerns about the level of care and respect shown to patients and their advocates. Dr Jovita had no place to intervene in our arrangement in the way he did I believe Dr. Jovita's behaviour was unprofessional and fell short of the standards expected from a healthcare professional. I hope that the practice will take my complaint seriously and take steps to address Dr. Jovita's behaviour. To anyone considering attending this practice, I would advise you to be cautious and consider your options carefully. The staff at reception were understanding and helpful, but unfortunately, one bad apple can spoil the bunch. I hope that by sharing my experience, I can help others avoid a similar situation and encourage the practice to improve their service.

If I could, I would give zero stars. I visited Dr. Taheri twice for treatment, and on both occasions, I experienced extremely unpleasant and unprofessional behaviour. I felt that his attitude was rude and lacked even the most basic patient-centered care and respect. It seemed as if he had no intention of helping me at all. This experience caused me significant stress and has made me anxious about seeking further dental treatment. He was the worst dentist I have ever encountered – it was truly shameful.

Never going back to this practice after the Polish dentist made a complete mess of one tooth and damaged my nerve. Does not know what she was doing and I ended up spending thousands £ to rectify the problem at private practice. Her 2 minute checkups are a joke. Just do a private checkup and you know what she missed out

I definitely would give it -1 disgraceful dentist, My daughter had to have extractions done 2 week before her braces were due the appointment was booked for 3half weeks before that appointment, we turned up & they pulled out an old extraction appointment for baby teeth. And i said to them thats from 2019, the dentist women said thats all they have got so had to rebook. So i did for a week after and because she turned up to her appointment 10mins late they have stopped all treatmet she had been waiting for since 2018 because they said they referred her for treatment was delayed for over a year & half because they forgot to do the referral in the first place. Disgusting ppl and liers saying she missed an appointment last time thats why it was stopped but it wasn't her that missed it they went mom missed an appointment due to having to rush to A&E for emergency for baby. Avoid Avoid Avoid. Trying to get rid of NHS patients all together thats what they are doing.

Reception service is utterly diabolical at the moment. There's one older lady who to her credit does absolutely everything she can to help, and a younger lass that sounds like she just does not want to be there, doesnt listen to your query and then nonchalantly says I'll need a callback for information that is quite literally right in front of her. This was an emergency call. And this enthusiastic lass also refuses to give her name. Awful service, fingers crossed you all get the older helpful lady

Worst dental practice you can even go to. Very unprofessional wouldn't even give them a 1 star. Worst experience in my life. Please avoid everyone. The lady dentist is very very rude keeps saying go to a different dental practice. Never in my life seen someone so stuck up. Reported her to the headoffice too. Definitely leaving this practice! Had a filling done due to the sensitivity on my tooth she just put half filling on the tooth without smoothing it out or anything and just goes see u after 3 months. Had to wait until she comes back from here Annual leave as others won't rectify her mess! Always in a rush!

I was referred to Hillsborough Family Dental through NHS 111 as I needed an urgent tooth extraction. I managed to get booked in same day, and while it's rarely a pleasant experience having the dental equivalent of a screwdriver lodged into your jaw, I was impressed with the service provided. I found the receptionist to be polite and friendly and the Dentist herself (and assistant) to be professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. The premises are clean and sanitised throughout. If I was to nitpick I could say that I was waiting a little while past my appointed time, but when I was actually seen to the procedure took no time at all, so I was in and out quicker than I expected. I can't really find any faults to be honest. I'm in agreement with Dan Thompson regarding the negative reviews of this business, the majority of them are genuinely petty and seem more like 'first world problems' to me. In fact it was reading the negative reviews that inspired me to write this one as I think this business deserves a higher rating than the 2.8 it currently sits at. I'll certainly be returning for any dental work in future.
