   Had my first hair appointment at Allertons and it was the best experience. I haven’t been to a hair salon since 2017 so finding the best one was difficult but I’m so glad I went with Allertons. I originally booked with a hair stylist that was running over a bit due to a colouring appointment so Sophie (level 5) asked me if it would be okay if she did my hair which I was fine with. I’ve recently been struggling with my hair becoming more and more thin and lots of it coming out when I wash it. Sophie was super helpful throughout the whole appointment talking about what I can do to help improve my hair and finding out what I do day to day that I need to stop in order to protect my hair. I will definitely be returning! Thank youuu

   Tom is such a fantastic hair stylist. Always attentive, listens to what the client wants, and gives his professional recommendations which makes you feel more confident. I have been going to Tom for a colour for almost a year now and it always looks amazing. I always feel very safe in his hands. 10/10 for Tom and his skills, I couldn’t recommended enough.

   Tom is the absolute best. I’ve never coloured my hair before and based on how dark my hair was (the most darkest form of brown) Tom managed to pull off the unexpected. I am so glad I went to him.

   I feel cheated by this salon. I visited the salon several times to have my hair cut and was charged the standard price that applied to all Allertons' hairdressers. It was not cheap and I could have obtained the same service more cheaply in a different salon. I reasonably assumed that all the hairdressers had the same or comparable qualifications and experience since the same price applied. I had a terrible shock when I saw the revised price list sent to me by Allertons, which made it clear that the hair stylists were classified according to their qualifications and experience. My stylist is just level 1. This was never explained to me, nor was I aware that I was paying a comparatively high fee for a Level 1 stylist. The price of a Level 1 stylist (mine) is now considerably lower than the price of a Level 4 stylist. The difference is quite staggering. I have been taken for a complete fool. I have now gone to a different salon, which charges the same price I was charged for the Level 1 stylist for a Level 4 stylist. The difference in the hair cut is significant.

   I’ve had my hair cut here a couple of times. They’re always really friendly and I trust that they’ll do a good job with my hair. This time I just went for a dye consultation and allergy test but they were helpful and efficient and I know that I’ll be in safe hands.

   The service was really nice and had a wonderful haircut by Sophie xx I was quite worried because I have lots of hair which is thick. But she managed it and perfectly done my curtain bangs and layers :) It was my first haircut in the UK and I loved it ❤︎

   I visited Allertons for a wash, cut, balayage, Olaplex treatment and blow dry. I also had my eyebrows shaped and tinted and my eyelashes lifted and tinted. The service was excellent from start to finish and I cannot recommend Libby enough as a hairdresser. I’ve never been so pleased with a haircut, and all my treatments were fantastic. I could not be happier with the results and cannot recommend Allertons highly enough!

   I've always hated going to the hairdressers but needs must. This is the fifth time I've gone to Allerton's and have used both John Lewis and the one in the Queens Arcade, which I prefer. Libby did my hair for the first time and I came away very happy with the style I had asked for. It looks very healthy, feels good to touch, and whats even better is I can do it myself and it looks almost as good as when Libby did it. Thank you Libby I'll definitely be back:)
