Myself and a friend had the pleasure of experiencing the winter spa package today and what a treat it was. Such a relaxing, cozy, zen atmosphere from the moment you enter. I chose to have the facial as I usually go with back massage, and so glad I did. The most relaxing, amazing treatment I’ve ever had! It was just beautiful. My face, neck, chest, arms, fingers and head, felt brand new! Both ladies were super attentive and made our experience perfect! everything my body needed right now! So thank you for that. I experienced the Japanese head spa today and it was fabulous. Laura was my therapist and she was amazing. 1 hour of pure bliss which included a mini facial and hand, arm and shoulder massage. I would 100% recommend it.
I love this place, everytime my fiancée comes home from here she is absolutely buzzing. She says the staff are the best in the business, attentive, passionate and professional. She always has a laugh with them and the other clients who are there. The massages are out of this world relaxing and the facials make her skin glow, even a guy like me can see the difference. It's a little slice of paradise in the middle of a grey northern town. Absolutely worth every minute she spends there, and because it makes her feel happy, it makes me feel happy.
Lovely reiki session with Kelly. My appointment was at 11am , I arrived a little early (as you do), was offered a drink and given a form to complete. The reception is a bright and welcoming space with big comfy chairs to relax in while you wait. Kelly appeared right on time to review the information I'd provided on the form and to discuss the treatment with me, my reasons for seeking it out, what I hoped to achieve from the session etc. Previous reiki treatments I've had used the hands off method, at the powder room they use hands on. I was fine with this as it was explained before hand and i am ok with physical contact. I don't remember seeing it as I read through the website prior to making the booking, or if it was there it didn't register with me as being actual physical contact, so just a heads up for anyone who would prefer not to be physically touched during a session, this is maybe not the right reiki provider for you. The treatment was done in a softly lit room, calm music playing and essential oils were used. It's a very relaxing treatment, difficult to describe - I saw swirling lights (my eyes were closed) and felt sensations like tickling on the top of my head and on face as kelly worked on my crown and third eye chakras for example. It's one of those things you have to experience to understand the sensations as its so hard to describe, but happy with the results. I left feeling very much lighter and more balanced than when I arrived and have booked to go back in 4 weeks. Thanks Kelly, Natalie and team, very enjoyable and I will be back!
