My vaneer fell off over the weekend. I phoned early Monday and the receptionist was kind and got me a morning appointment. I was seen by a 5th year student who talked me through the process. My tooth was fixed within 10 minutes. I am so grateful for the friendly, calm staff. Thank you.
Previously brilliant could not fault. However last two visits, awful. Students not listening when the issue is a repeat issue that has had to be managed but not interested. Now I am left with a half hanging out tooth that will be finished off next week because they ran out of time.
I went for my top right filling to get fixed and a scale and polish today and the Staff were very helpful and friendly. They described what they were doing next. They made me feel at ease
Very friendly staff. Receptionists are exceptionally efficient. They helped me organise multiple appointments whilst I was dealing with a family members ill health, including ones I needed at very short notice. Dental staff put me at ease prior to numerous extractions, keeping me informed about what was happening and ensuring the anesthesia was sufficient before starting. Good aftercare information and follow up appointments. Would highly recommend.
I hadn't been to the dentist for too long as I've previously had a poor experience. I needed an emergency appointment and found Thompson and Thomas who on the phone were so understanding and polite and got me an appointment for the next day. The appointment was brilliant the staff were so lovely and caring and clear about what they were going to do. I felt at ease. So professional and great service. Thank you!
I have been with Thompson and Thomas for years both at Langsett road and at Fairlawns. I have had lots of dental work done over the years and been put totally at ease by David. I feel safe and relaxed in his hands and that says everything about visiting the dentist.
I used to be part of the Langsett practise until they tripped over and stuck needle straight through my bottom lip. So I transferred to Fairlawns... to be honest 1st year or 2 all work was done well even though its students who complete the work. It was all done professionally and I had no doubts seen as the dentist and operations do not really bother me. The last year has gone downhill.. I have been stabbed in my bottom lip again, I explained I have a bad gag reflex and nearly made me physically sick shoving x ray equipment in my mouth fast and my last appointment I had 3 injections and kept saying I could feel EVERYTHING and it was sensitive but they disregarded what I said and carried on, putting me in more intense pain so won't be coming back!
