   The (second) appointment itself was fine. I had an appointment for 15th December (I've just found the appointment card) but there was no record if this at the surgery so I had to go back again 4 days later. Next time I'll double check before I go to save a wasted journey.

   Can't fault the people, or the quality of care. Always friendly and welcoming and with good advice for oral health. My one dislike is being sold to in a healthcare setting. There's always a new product designed to straighten or whiten or correct something and staff clearly on the hook to 'sell it'. I'd rather people in a healthcare setting let patients be happy as they are instead of creating FOMO or consumption anxiety because they're told by marketing types that they're not enough as they are.

   I changed to Bamford Dental Practice a couple of years ago to have an implant done by the excellent Julian Yates. Really pleased with the results. And I decided to stay with them as they are a very friendly team who explain everything clearly and give good advice.

   I took my 3 year old daughter for her first dental check up. All the staff were amazing. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful when I booked the appointment and the dentist and dental nurse were wonderful with my daughter.

All procedures carefully explained and carried out competently and gently, or with more vigour as the situation demands. Description of actions as treatment proceeds if you wish. Complete confidence in their proposed treatments after ten years of using the practice.

Detailed consultations, appointments booked and penicillin ordered all after hours. Service above and beyond. Impressed after a frustrating day in Sheffield hospitals drawing blanks.

   Thaks very much for going out of your way to fit me in at such short notice. It was much appreciated due the pain I was in. Andy explained the problem in detail with different treatment options and a few hours later I can eat without pain. I would highly recommend this peactice from the helpful receptionists to the expert dental care.
