Five star rating! I first found Colori because my neighbour’s hair looked so good and she told me she went to Colori. I’ve been going here for a good year now and it’s easily the best thing I’ve done for my hair in years. I came out yesterday feeling like Marilyn Monroe! They’re great at cutting and colour, also advising on what might suit you as a person and not just the latest trend. Plus it’s one of the few places in York who do Olaplex. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Colori if you are looking for beautiful hair:) plus the staff are super friendly as well as skilled
I contacted Colori for help Colour correcting my hair. Helen did an amazing job, she listened carefully and provided some very perceptive advice on how to get me back on track. She made it look so easy! I left the salon so much happier, and now after a year of visiting colori, my hair is healthier, shinier and thicker than it has ever been! First time visiting Colori. I had my hair cut (restyle) & coloured by Amie, she did a fantastic job. Professional from start to finish, I love my new look! Amie mixed colours to get the perfect shade of brown and I couldn’t be happier. Definitely recommend, would visit again.
Colori is an excellent hairdressers! I've being going there for several years now and have always been delighted with the way they do my hair. I see Helen, the Style Director, and can't praise her too highly, but all the stylists are very skilled and really know how to cut hair properly! They are experts when it comes to colouring too. My hair is going grey, and I have highlights to blend the grey with my natural colour. The colours look subtle and natural, and I only need to have them done a couple of times a year. During the lockdown earlier in the year, I'd worried that my hair would look awful, as the salon was closed. I needn't have worried though. Thanks to Helen's great haircut just before lockdown, I stayed elegant as my bob simply grew a bit longer. It still retained its shape. I only needed to trim my fringe a bit, as lockdown went on. Friends actually asked me if I'd managed to arrange a sneaky visit from a hairdresser! Helen phoned as soon as the salon reopened after lockdown, to ensure that her regular customers got appointments ASAP. All of the stylists have recently worked very long days, to see regular customers before the second lockdown.The recent review which is saying that lydia is unprofessional is so false and seem the person writing this review is out to harm or hold a grudge against the girl if i was the business owner i would ban this person from my shop as putting silly and negative feedback which isnt good for business
I hadn't had my hair coloured professionally in over a decade and I was very nervous about going to see a hair dresser. When I booked my appointment I explained that I thought it was going to be a lot of work and the lady I spoke to on the phone was helpful and ensured my appointment was long enough for everything that I needed. I arrived and was warmly greeted by Lydia and then Helen took me through for a consultation, she made me feel comfortable and gave me advice on how to get the best results and then she set to work. During my appointment Helen was friendly and professional, she gave me lots of advice for keeping my hair in good condition, she offered me a coffee (a cappuccino!) which I thought was a really lovely touch. 4 hours later, my hair was transformed from dull, boring and unkempt into beautiful, flawlessly coloured waves. My hair has never looked as good as it does now and it brought tears to my eyes when I saw the results. Helen is a miracle worker, she has improved my hair, my appearance and the way I feel about myself. I couldn't be more impressed and I would highly recommend Colori. The salon itself is spotlessly clean and finished to a high standard, even the small details like the cup my coffee was served in seemed to have been carefully thought about. I've already booked my next appointment. I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars. Thank you so much
