I visited here last week ..got my new extensions fitted and balayage the lady was lovely . So much cheaper then town prices defo be going back :)
Can't recommend highly enough. Myself and my sons have been going to Harvey Richard's for over a decade and they always have time for a catch up. Cut hair exactly as we ask and offer advice on hair care and grooming. Be aware, you do need to book in advance! This has worked for us for years and never had a cancellation or any issues.

Local unisex hairdressing salon with an booking system that works very well. I have been a regular for 10 years and like the convenience of being able to make appointment but know I can walk in on occasions as well.

I have been going to Harvey Richard Hairdresser since my old barber on Tadcaster Road closed. I have always found them to be friendly and helpful. I am aware that they are sometimes very busy so have taken to booking in advance. I can only assume that the gentleman who complained about being turned away had arrived unannounced when they were busy and was miffed when they were unable to accommodate him. It is easy to ring ahead. Not only are they polite and cheerful, they are also very good at cutting hair.
2 times in 3 weeks turned away for a haircut. 1st time was at 1155hrs on a Saturday, told by the very abrupt and rude blonde woman, “I’m closed”. Well you had a customer in the salon and your door was open, so no you weren’t closed! Today, “have you booked?” Well no I haven’t because you have a sandwich board outside advertising the price of a mans haircut, so I assumed I could get what is advertised. Safe to say I’ll never be going again. Should a business really be turning away paying customers?
