   Had two appointments booked well in advance for Sunday, planned before heading to the airport. On Thursday, I was told the appointment time was changing, then later informed the shop wouldn’t even be opening on Sunday because of the bank holiday. The bank holiday wasn’t exactly a surprise, so why take bookings in the first place? By then, it was far too late to arrange anything else. We were offered Saturday instead, but due to work commitments that wasn’t possible. I replied to the text message but had no response at all. Really poor customer service and very unprofessional – cancelling last minute and leaving us with no alternative.

   I come here regularly and always very happy with the guys here. great techniques. but for some reason they let a guy (probably training) serve everyone today(21/4) . I had the worst haircut ever. I was suspecting from the moment he prepared and held my head. £20 is no problem but I am really disappointed. I did let him continue because of the reputation of this salon but my hair is like a rag now. He even used the clippers on my ear and made it red. and this is the skin faded hair

   Booked a head shave and beard shape and style. Head shave was only done with clippers and foil so more like velcro rather than a smooth shave. Beard lined up ok, didn't tidy up round the mouth area, only lined the cheek and neck but had to get another barber to rescue the neck area as he couldn't get it symmetrical. There was no trim of the beard so it's still untidy so will have to sort it myself or pay someone who knows what they're doing. Not the greatest unfortunately, not the best 20 quid I've ever spent

   My last review criticised the £15 price tag for my 11 year old. However the craftsmanship on display today was a joy to behold, which makes me feel that this was well worth the money. Josh is a great barber and a good lad too.

   2023: 3/5 sadly the culture in this place has turned a corner. The barbers openly talk badly about the manager in front of customers, they’ve stopped washing hair or offering a free beer and I had my appointment cancelled at least three times. The stars are for the cuts I’ve had which have been what I’ve asked for but sadly I won’t be going again. 2019: 5/5 so glad this place exists. Proper cut by a pro that knew what he talking about. They take there time and make sure every cut is just as good as the last, as opposed to those who just butcher your hair for speed. I’ve had bad cuts for over a year and eventually stumbled over this place yesterday. Really pleased they do bookings as no one wants to hang around waiting. Already booked in for a follow up in December and will definitely recommend. Thanks gents!

   Had the pleasure of having my hair cut by Danny, top gent, very patient and did an excellent job delivering my vision of what I wanted. I was served a cider while I waited and the rates were very reasonable. Good music playing and the barbers is superbly decorated, feels like a really classy establishment. Only quibble is that they are so good there is a bit of a wait, I had to make an appointment for four days ahead of time but that is a sign of their success I suspect. Keep it up gents!
