5 stars is not enough. I have just had my first ride here and can’t wait to come back. The horses are lovely, people incredibly welcoming and scenery breathtaking. Thank you for such a wonderful Sunday afternoon.
I was lucky enough to have my first ride at Tarden a few days ago, and I have honestly been blown away. The yard is absolutely immaculate, located in the most beautiful surroundings, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Excellent value for money. Opal took my ride, and she was lovely. I rode Duke, who was great fun! He was forward-going, but extremely sensible and bombproof. Duke was the perfect horse for someone like me, who has years’ of experience, but is a little rusty and nervous! I felt like I was really listened to when I booked in, and was matched with a suitable horse accordingly, which made me feel a lot more confident. We enjoyed a couple of canters down by the river, which were both breathtaking and liberating. It was a morning I won’t forget, and was exactly what I needed. If you want to escape life for a couple of hours, I’d highly recommend a ride out at Tarden!

We turned up here my mistake (I booked the wrong Riding Stables) and Loren was so helpful that she agreed to let my daughter do a 1 hour trek. The people here are so friendly and the stables so clean and tidy. We returned two days later for another trek. My daughter (Ava) says it was the best trek she has been on and they did more in 1 hour than she has covered in all the previous treks she has done. We will definitely return again.
Tarden Farm is an amazing magical place. The people are so friendly and horses are beautiful and contented. My daughter has been riding there for many years and has had amazing rides every time. Lovely place, amazing scenery, well worth a visit.
First time bringing my daughter here for a hack, from the minute we arrived everyone was really nice, helpful and very welcoming. The horses were well turned out the yard was spotless. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. We will definitely be coming back. welcoming and help

Went riding at Tarden Farm today for the first time, not ridden in 7 years so was a bit rusty and nervous. From the moment of walking into the yard was made to feel welcome from everyone which put me at ease. Beautiful well looked after and well behaved horses. Riding in lovely surroundings, couldn’t think of a better way to get your confidence back. Friendly and professional, would recommend. Will definitely be booking for next week.
