   I cannot begin to describe how great the staff are. I had some queries about some medicine for my partner and the young man took so much time and care to explain everything to make sure I understood. I also went today as I get my prescriptions from there, and the lady pharmacist did my prescription quickly for me as I needed it in a rush. Absolutely fantastic staff. Would give 10 stars if I could. An absolute credit to Tesco!!

   Had some issues with the surgery regarding my son and an antibiotic prescription…I was left very emotional and all the staff at the chemist were so kind and understanding with me..I can’t thank them enough

   Would be no stars. Asked GP to send one off prescription here. Came to collect this morning only to be told it had gone to different pharmacy. Went to collect from other pharmacy and was a repeat prescription already ordered. On checking NHS app confirmed my one off prescription had indeed been sent to Stalybridge Tesco as requested. So another journey to Tesco to be told my prescription was in fact there but it will be ready in 20 minutes! So another (my 3rd trip to Tesco yet to come! Don't know if I'll get it then! Who knows probably a 4th trip or more! Absolutely appalling service. Whilst my issue was an annoyance some of these complaints seem quite serious. These people should make a complaint to Local Integrated Care Board or General Pharmaceutical council.

   I had an operation at Stepping Hill in January that has left me in absolute agony. I went to this pharmacy when my tablets were increased and was given one box of 56 tablets. When I needed more my GP refused saying I had enough. It turns out I should have been given a second box which I was not given. These are controlled drugs. I went to the pharmacy in regards to the missing tablets in a state of fear, to be told that they were busy, come back tomorrow. I was given more tablets but I was met by the same incredibly rude member of staff telling me that the tablets were given to me as a favour and that this was done in good faith. In other words loosing 28 controlled drugs was not their fault. I was also told by this so called pharmacist to go elsewhere if I was not happy. This was announced loudly in front of a queue of people. I worked as a nurse for 35 years in 7 Manchester hospitals, I never asked any patient to be grateful, or that I had done them a favour, how absurd! I talked to the manager who told me to get a form to complain from customer services, there are no forms. Do not use this pharmacy, they are unprofessional, incompetent, dangerous buffoons who are in love with themselves,

   Dispensed the prescription incorrectly...my medication was 2 days short. Poor service when I called to try and rectify it saying they didn't have the same antibiotics in stock now so I've been left without my full course!

   *Avoid this place* Went to pick up prescription 6 days after being sent to them, to be advised they’ve not been able to get my medication from the supplier. Told someone would contact me the day after (they didn’t). Rang to be told still not able to get medication (at this point I’d ran out). Pharmacist told me to go to another pharmacy, which would require Doctor to issue new prescription which just adds more time without meds - super rude and unhelpful

   I am not surprised to see the dreadful reviews for this pharmacy as I have a similar terrible experience. The pharmacist is incredibly rude and rather than apologising for not giving me my whole order the day before, he started accusing me of being aggressive. When I mentioned that I have had a wasted trip yesterday because of their incompetence his response was “ there are hundreds of other pharmacies you don’t have to come here “ . Than his staff came up with a further excuse that they did not have the stock the day before, though just 10 minute before that he admitted that they received my full order but did not prepare it . His excuse was “ we get thousands of prescriptions so yours was missed “ Rude and untruthful - not a great combo for health care professional.

   Interesting experience... If you like standing around while people ignore you then this is the place for you. Once the complete lack of acknowledgment was raised, the ensuing conversation ended with the Pharmacist becoming aggressive and stating 'Fu** customer service, I'm not serving you.' No apology, I had to seek out a manager to access the medication. Not professional, not a good experience and arose through a simple call out of awful service. This pharmacy has some serious problems and is best avoided if you want a decent level of service while ill.
