Terrible experience at this store the lady who I now know is the manager treats the staff like dogs. I am appalled at how a so called manager can treat anyone like that and get away with it. I was also waiting over 45 minutes for a prescription for the manager to tell me she hasn’t done it yet come back tomorrow I have now changed where I get my prescription from as the atmosphere in that store is horrific
I know that there have been some issues with this pharmacy in the past. I have been using them for years and I’ve not been immune for the long waits for prescriptions. However, in the last few months there has been a drastic shift in the management of service and for the better. I’ve been getting my prescriptions within days of request. Today I needed an emergency prescription and it was sorted within half an hour. The staff throughout it all have always tried their best to be helpful and friendly - and this hasn’t always been reciprocated by customers. I have always found the staff to be largely pleasant, and I think it’s a shame that they’ve been abused (witnessed) by other patrons. Nothing in life is perfect and we would do well to recognise that.
Avoid this Boots Pharmacy hopelessly unorganised, rude staff, proscriptions never ready on time, always long waits a real shambles a disappointing service to the community such a shame.
Not sure what is going on in Boots in Hadfield atm but prescriptions are never ready ,I've not had any texts for the last 3/4 months to say when prescriptions already until after I've actually phoned to see if it is ready or called in ??Doesnt seem to be many staff customers always queuing.. today I called for my prescription the DR sent to boots Friday Morning and Tuesday it's still not done 4 ppl in front of me all had the same issue and was told to go back later ?? It's not really fair when ppl are poorly having to wait for days for prescriptions to be done
Very friendly & professional staff. * edited review Originally I gave 5 stars, but over the last few months my repeat prescription has gone from being ready in a few days to nearly 2 weeks. It appears to be getting worse on prescription ready time.
Staff are always fantastic and super helpful. There is a sanitation station upon entry to the store. Unfortunately the store layout is a big of a bother if you are trying to browse for an item due to the one way system, but it is understandable why they have it in place.
Super helpful and friendly. Can always have a nice chat and laugh when you visit even in these difficult times. They have a great product range and some great knowledge too.
