Had a pair of Reebok sunglasses altered to include prescription glasses with transition lens. Helen sorted all this out & I’m very pleased with the result. Only need take 1 pair out with me when on holiday now.

Really happy with both pairs of glasses - one bifocal, the other for reading. Before, I'd always had swimmy vision, but these two pairs of glasses have completely corrected the problem. Very pleased.

I've seriously no idea what has happened to this branch in the year or so. Never had any problems until Summer of last year when I needed a new medication and they were the only branch who would manage to stock it or order it in for me. Those first couple of times, not a single problem. But since then, every time I have been in they have been rude, ignorant and downright socially inept. The pharmacy workers (or shall I say 90% of them, as the younger lady with the long blonde hair is actually lovely) are incredibly dismissive. I can understand if they don't have what you need, never an issue of that and I am happy to return, but not saying a single word and staring into your very soul when you hand in a prescription isn't quite what you'd expect when looking to obtain a service. Never a hello, just take your prescription and stare at you until you politely state "I understand if you don't have it, I can always come back", which is them met with a grunt of some sort and no goodbye. The fact that it takes for someone to actually call out how ridiculously they've treated someone and essentially taken them for a ride every month regarding their medication to actually show they are human is beyond me. Today was the final straw, and as much as I don't believe in having to be abrupt, and I'm not the biggest fan of my partner doing that on my behalf, they weren't wrong and I would've delivered the exact same message just in a slightly different way. The most recent issue happened today. My prescription was dropped in about a week ago, then I returned to pick it up and the pharmacist was not present and wouldn't be for some time. So I returned today only to be met with my prescription expiring while it was still with them, and so I still cannot have it. It's yet another consistent exercise of taking the piss. They have zero care and compassion. I cannot pin point if it's anything to do with the way I look, the medication I take or just me as a person but it doesn't warrant the demeanor I am met with each and every time I enter that building. This isn't just one occasion, it's just the last one. Most times I am alone when I go to drop and collect medication, and each time is the same another cold interaction and a waste of time. And as someone who is acutely aware of how they come across, and is overly polite to avoid coming across as rude, I do not believe this problem is myself. Please reply in any way you see fit, or not at all, nothing I have said is untrue or incorrect. People are coming to you to get medical help, and they do not wish to be treated as beneath you, nor do most of them wish to treat you as beneath them.

Since my partner took ill over a year ago I have had top class service from the staff at boots Glossop. All members of staff have gone above and beyond to make this terribly difficult journey just that bit easier for me. I can’t praise them enough
