   3 weeks or so ago I trawled the Wells site whilst on holiday in Turkey until I could find the first available appointment for a flu jab. I booked an appointment for 2pm today the 27 Oct 2025. That was confirmed to me by text this weekend. I turned up at Wells in Glossop to be told there was no injections available? There were 4 people behind the counter looking in total disarray. I was passed from a Locum to another employee who refused to give me the telephone number for Paul the area Manager, or the complaints procedure for the Company only to be given a post it sticker with this email address. I was told by the Locum they would be doing a drop in next week. I go on holiday a week next Friday. The other employee could not confirm that there would be a drop in. Why was I being misinformed? This was in front of other customers. I was informed by the employee that she checked this morning that there was nobody due an injection today. She had not ordered any. When I showed her my text to confirm the appointment for today at 2pm she asked where that had come from! It was like she was suggesting I had made this appointment up. That shop was in total chaos today. The public deserves better at a time when flu and Covid is on the rise. I deserved better, particularly when I am under the NHS and on a ‘Wait and see’ programme for a health condition. Your employee had no concern about booking me in for another appointment and I actually insisted she take my details, which she did on another post it sticker so the area Manager could contact me by phone. Who uses post it stickers to take important information from customers? I found this to be unprofessional. This pharmacy should be given the lowest rating possible. It needs putting in measures to improve its performance. It is neglectful, irresponsible and an utter disgrace for dealing with people’s health in such a blasé manner. I did email the address I was given for Paul the area Manager and I left my mobile number and was told he would be available tomorrow to contact me. I can only hope.

   Well moved from Glossop Station, with very ample parking, to relocate on the very busy High Street, some distance from the Main Car park. Not very good for customers with mobility issues! Also there have been contact issues when telephoning, calls during normal hours have remained unanswered or even worse cut off. Recent Text indicated delivery of prescription that same day (received early evening) however nothing arrived. Again trued to call following morning, no answer! Then later in the morning, prescription was delivered. Fortunately we were in! Have complained to Well previously about unanswered telephone Calls. Was advised that they were often TOO BUSY TO ANSWER! Come on get a Grip! Unsatisfactory!

   Well Pharmacy is no longer at the Co-Op but is on High Street West, opposite The Norfolk Arms. Have had no problems in my 7 years here in Glossop. Trustworthy & staff are excellent.
