The worse pharmacy in area.The awaiting time for perscription its pathetic! Absolutely rubbish.Very arrogant pharmacists.
The staff here are so helpful. In particular the pharmacist who has provided valuable medical advice for us on numerous occasions whilst we wait for primary care appointments and phone lines to become available. Our last case of this, he went above and beyond to secure a GP appointment for my sick minor within a couple of hours, as he could see we’re were stuck without support (caught in an unfortunate but frustrating system glitch: GP appointments weren’t available and 111 couldn’t help with an appointment until it was officially “out of hours”, and we didn’t see it necessary to take up emergency services time). So grateful for this.
Ordered an online prescription from my doctors in Yorkshire. Waited a few days and received it no problem? I always wait a few extra days just to make sure. Shop was clean and the staff were efficient and friendly.
I ordered a prescription on Friday. It hadn’t arrived by Wednesday. I called and was told it’d be delivered that day. It wasn’t delivered. I called Thursday, phone was off the hook. Same Friday, constant engaged tone all day. Called GP and they said they’d collect it for me to go after work. Went to collect but neither the GP or Rowlands knew where it was! Had to wait for another prescription to be sent to another chemist, which I finally managed to pick up on Monday night. I have a disability and have medicine delivered as I work from home. Luckily I didn’t have an asthma attack for the 6 days I was without an inhaler! Not good!
Have always found Rowlands to be helpful - despite often needing them to issue a prescription on the same day. Strongly recommended
Absolutely great I'm 4 hrs from home and forgot to actually pack my smellies but more importantly all my diabetic drugs which are about 16 different things . Liaising with my doctors pharmacy and Rowlands they couldn't have been more helpful especially at 5 pm on a Friday night inc staying late. Thanks again guys
Iv never had so much trouble getting a medication, iv now given up trying to get it. I will definitely be changing my nominated pharmacy.
Polite, helpful, and knowledgeable staff who deal very well with the high demands and stress of their jobs. Also has a wide range of items in stock which are very helpful and well organised. It functions much better than other pharmacies I've seen! I'll definitely never go anywhere else :)
Poor service was told I had been prescribed a medication that was not available and to go back to the doctor for another medication, after requesting they ring their stockist later found it was available in other measures so bad info given, as it had to be ordered I was told to ring after 11am the next day to check, only to be told it was ready to collect when I arrived the lady was very angry that it was not ready and gave no apology. Not at all professional
