By far the best pharmacy experience I’ve had in a long time! Alex couldn’t have been more helpful, explaining everything and helping me with some alternatives to talk to GP about. Proper service, I Felt like I mattered as a customer. 10/10 thank you x

On all the occasions that I have used this pharmacy I have been treated with kindness, patience and professionalism. Recently I had an emergency which really would usually have meant an A&E visit. I approached this pharmacy and a lovely gentleman named David solved my problem immediately with such gentleness and skill I was so grateful. This has been my regular experience of this pharmacy.

Having used this Pharmacy for years as my chosen prescription pick up point and for over the counter purchases, I will never set foot in Fir Road Pharmacy again, following the experience I had today. I had a prescription to pick up for my son, I had been told no prescription had been sent. As I was going for a blood test at our GP'S, I asked at reception and was given a code and told to contact the pharmacy, which I did. The pharmacy then found my son's prescription and I was told the medicine would be available to pick up the next day. This morning I went to pick up the prescription, once again I was told there was no prescription for my son, I explained to the counter staff and they went to ask the pharmacist. I then attempted to explain to the pharmacist, she became very loud and said all she needed was my son's name, which I gave her, but she refused to let me explain the situation, accused me of being abusive to her and threatened to have me removed from the pharmacy. I explained I was not becoming abusive and was just trying to explain to her what had happened the previous day. A lady who was in the pharmacy assured me that I was not being rude, I felt extremely uncomfortable as all I wanted to do was get the antibiotics for my son. As I was talking to the lady the pharmacist and another member of staff once again told me I would be made to leave the shop and that I should read a sign saying the pharmacy did not tolerate abusive behaviour, I once again explained I was not being abusive, I was just trying to explain what had happened. I was then told that my son's medicine was not at the pharmacy. I asked for the prescription so I could go to another chemist's for it. Once again the pharmacist became angry saying she had spent too much time with me and she would have to process the prescription before I could take it and that would take 20 minutes. I said that was fine and sat down to wait. Once again I felt very uncomfortable and very confused with everything happening. After approx 15 minutes the pharmacist called out my son's name, I went to collect the prescription, only to find the pharmacist holding a bag. She told me that they had found the medicine and had spoken to their colleague that I had spoken with the day before and the medicine should be kept in the fridge, It seemed strange that neither the pharmacist or their senior staff member had recognised that this anti-biotic should be refrigerated when they told me that they did not have the medicine earlier. I would imagine that there would be a place to store medication in the pharmacy that had to be under a certain temperature?. I thanked them and left. I will be contacting my medical centre on Tuesday and changing my pharmacist prescription pick up point and I will never set foot in Fir Road Pharmacy again.

This is a good Pharmacy. Ignore people ranting. If you use the NHS app to order and track prescriptions you know when the GP has approved and the request is then with the pharmacy, within 2-3 working days my prescriptions have always been processed and are ready for collection. I order over ten items at different times regularly with Fir Rd the only issue is drug stock, specialist items. The communication is good I get an IOU or I go searching a larger chain pharmacy with a big warehouse system Boots who can source. With a variety of lifetime drugs Fir Rd has been a great service to rely on. Well done

For the second time in 3 prescription runs my prescription failed to reach the health centre, leaving me precariously short of medication and putting the onus on me to chase around and try to sort things out. This also affected my wife whose prescription, including insulin, was not delivered to the surgery. This used to be a lovely pharmacy and we never had a problem, frankly the new owners have had a terrible effect on this business, you should expect to receive a safe and effective service. If the pharmacy has a systems problem then it needs to invest in improvements and quickly. I need to switch to a reliable pharmacy - any recommendations?

Do not like the staff who are rude and not helpful at all especially if in a panic because I'd run out of medication !!!

The staff in this chemist are incredible, whoever answers the phone or greets you when you walk in doesn’t matter, they genuinely care for you and what you need. Being Type 1 diabetic and on my way to a third reoccurring brain tumour surgery, these guys “just get it” and understand the basic principle that I NEED certain medication. Maybe Fir Road pharmacy staff could train the staff at Springfield surgery so they could learn some phone manners and how to be happier and more helpful in general…

Absolutely hopeless. Since the previous owners left I have never come here without there being a problem with the prescription. There is no sense of responsibility for the fact that many such prescriptions are absolutely critical.
