Absolutely dreadful and staff very much not my problem when they don’t have what you’ve came for

If I could give them a negative score I would. I telephoned ahead of going to the pharmacy to ensure they had my prescription item. They confirmed they did. I said great I’m setting off now to the staff member on the phone. I went directly there to be told to comeback in 1 hour as the pharmacist wasn’t in. Extremely disappointed. Wouldn’t use them again.

If I could give this pharmacy a negative score, I would. A GP referred my heavily pregnant daughter to the pharmacy for checks as she was struggling to breathe and was very weak. Unfortunately she chose this one. The pharmacist had nothing more than a thermometer which he claimed wasn't working properly, and did no further checks. 2 hours later my daughter ended up in hospital on drips with sepsis - fortunately spotted by her midwife. Her heart rate was through the roof and her temperature really high when taken on a thermometer that actually did work. I thank God the midwife took this more seriously than a pharmacist who couldn't even be bothered to get equipment that works. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs if you want any symptoms checking or simple checks carried out. We could have lost my daughter or her baby due to the lack of care taken by both Well Pharmacy and The Family Surgery in this case. Fortunately she's now recovering after IV antibiotics and a hospital stay. The next person may not be as lucky.

Nine times out of ten a great service and friendly staff, I'm sure all pharmacies have their off days now and again when can't find a prescription.

Always check what you prescription you are taking away. I was left with no epilepsy medication, they had not put it through on my repeat order. I had to miss work because I was scared of being without. It wasn't the first time my meds weren't correct. The staff are probably trying their hardest but there seems to be some sort of mismanagement or issue with the prescription system. Be aware !!

I booked a COVID vaccination online for Well Pharmacy, Reddish. All confirmed (or so I thought!) On the day of the jab, I trekked to the pharmacy from home during the rush hour and arrived on time for the 6pm appointment. There was a queue of people waiting in line for the vaccine. We waited for over 15 minutes and then the disinterested woman behind the counter dismissively asked. Is anyone here for their covid jab? Everyone in the queue said yes! She then turned round and said, you'll all have to re-book as the pharmacist has gone home!! This begs the questions, why couldn't they contact the patients in advance to save a wasted journey or when she saw the large queue of people, at least ask the question earlier rather than making everyone wait longer than necessary. Very poor service.

Very poor customer services . Went to buy Calpol for my child and I was told I can’t buy it as pharmacist in not in…. When to Morrison bought it without any problems….

This used to be a good chemist until wells took over now it is terrible. You don't get you prescription on time if at all without having to ring up. It is not the staffs fault they do an incredible job it seems to be the company . They seem to go through staff like anything they are over worked. Wells seem to be cutting corners so much I don't know how it manages to stay open and operate the poor women jn the shop are meeting themselves coming back. I honestly do not know how they manage. Shake your selves up wells and employ the staff you need

Used to be good service and friendly staff. Now prescription never ready when they say it will be - and have to wait for it to be made up when you arrive despite being assured on phone it will be ready. I have noticed this happening to other people too - or indeed people being told to come back the next day. Attitude on occasions with some customers seems dismissive. Always told they are short staffed and I appreciate this is difficult, but it certainly isn't easy being a customer as a consequence.
