⸻ I have been to Tesco Pharmacy six times trying to collect my cream, and every time it has been a problem. Yesterday morning my doctor sent the prescription, but today at 3 p.m. it was still not ready. I understand that staff can be busy, but this is really too much. You can hear laughing and chatting from a distance, yet they don’t seem to have time to process prescriptions. Very disappointing service.

Maybe less chatting and more attending to clients? I certainly didn't appreciate the 10-15 min wait while the staff was laughing and chatting inside. And when attending to clients it would also be good to see a customer oriented attitude instead of shrugging and pretending not to know just to get rid of the customer.

As usual Tesco pharmacies never fail to disappoint. I didn’t think they could go wrong with a flu jab though. Shocking. They asked if it was NHS, I said I qualified for an NHS flu jab, but also had a voucher. They said the voucher is private and only the manager can do that. The pharmacist on duty could only do NHS. They’re both the same jab so ridiculous. I said I’d have the NHS jab and told them my exemption. They were both baffled, the pharmacist said only medical exemption is asthma, he needs to check the information that is easily available, he is wrong. So he can only do NHS jabs, but doesn’t understand the rules! He said I’d have to go back when the manager is in. I said I wouldn’t be going back, just thought I would have it whilst I was in Tesco, as the demand on the NHS due to a flu outbreak has been well publicised recently. Off to Asda Pharmacy, they are a lot better.

My sister recently took some unused medication that our mum had back to the pharmacist as our mum is terminally ill and won't need it. The chemist had a shitty attitude telling my sister "well, that's such a waste of medicine isn't it". My sister is not very confident and just walked away but was upset about the comment. You don't know what people are going through so how about not having such a shitty attitude towards customers who are simply trying to do the right thing. Be better!

I went to speak to a pharmacist to ask advice about a rash I suspected was shingles, as it was the weekend and no GP practice was open. The, who I assume was a pharmacist, took me to the consultation room and rolled a glass over it, to check if it would fade. She told me it wasn't shingles as the rash faded, which "isn't typical for shingles, normally it wouldn't fade". A family member later informed me that you do that kind of test for meningitis, not shingles. Are these pharmacists even trained? I ended up contacting 111 who told me that it was in fact shingles that I had, so as you can imagine her rolling a glass over it for no logical reason whatsoever was very painful. It's not like I expected her to diagnose me but she clearly didn't have a clue what she was talking about. Overall, completely useless and I question the knowledge of the people working there.

I suspected my son had a ear infection but wasn’t sure if he had scratched the inside of his ear or the blood was from a infection. I rang the pharmacy and asked if they would take a look INSIDE my sons ear in which they said yes. I arrived, described my sons symptoms of pulling ears, really needy and some blood coming from his ear expecting to be taken into the little side room and for him to use a otoscope. NOPE he simply just looked from the other side of the counter and said it looked as though he scratched inside. I trusted my gut and went to ANE in which they prescribed amoxicillin. very poor, lack of care.

Yesterday afternoon around 3.30 pm I went with my daughter to a Tesco pharmacy in Salford to buy a medicine for my 11 month old grandson who had diarrhea. We asked the girl at the counter what medicine could she give us for the baby, she offered us a laxative! A laxative for a child with diarrhea ?! This girl doesn't understand anything about medicine and I don't know how he works in a pharmacy. Really very disappointed for the effective preparation of this girl, how does she work in the pharmacy? Better move her to the warehouse to put the medicines away! I put a ⭐ because you can't scegliere zero.
