I bought a perfume at Boss on 29/12/2024 but the bottle is empty
Food overly expensive, ( which standard at airports) aisles to small boots, haven’t thought about customers trying to navigate within the shop. Staff blocking aisles with cages which makes it more extremely difficult to move around store. Queues are so long as majority don’t know how to operate self service checkouts leaving one actual till that’s not self service.
Off on holiday in morning and we had forgotten some tablets. Called 111 and got emergency prescription. The pharmacist was amazing as he met us at the end of his shift with the tablets as we weren't flying from T1. Didn't get his name but he was amazing. Thank you
Meal deals on offer including fruit by the offer notice. Apparently the fruit I selected counts as a main meal ! Didn't in my day and I think it can be challenged as lacking in protein to count as a main meal. My very first job 58+ years ago was fairly briefly in sales and I seem to recall that then if signage indicated a price then we were obliged to honour that price. We were under call to gate and as my mobility is restricted it takes me longer to reach my destination so we hadn't time to seek a manager and had to leave our selection. As a result I didn't have water to take my painkillers (my latte drunk earlier was too hot as it would have melted the capsule which makes me nauseous). Not a good start to our holiday - cheers Boots !
They don't stock essentials. No insulin, you would thing they would carry a minimum of certain items.
Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Travelling down from Glasgow for a flight to Italy, I realised I'd forgotten my prescribed medications. I called the Terminal 1 pharmacy and my GP and they've sorted out between them to supply my medications to cover my holiday. No drama just good service. Thanks
The good point: It is convenient for last minute shop for snacks and toiletries before a flight. Bad points: A couple of the staff are impolite and rude and seem to have a real attitude problem. When I asked a lady why they needed my boarding pass, she was really rude.
