I’ve been coming for about 2 years and Ange and the girls are the best. Friendly, talented and never fail to supply you with a cuppa. I go for builder gel and my nails often can go for up to 5 weeks. I’ve has several other treatments including waxing and lashes and can honestly say I won’t be going anywhere else.
I went to this place for a pedicure for the first time. When I normally go to the Asian ones. Firstly because in her opinion the nails were ‘fine’ she didn’t trim my nails despite mentioning that on call when booking appointment. Secondly they didn’t have an industry type foot bath like most Asian places do it was foot spa/bath you’d buy for home and it didn’t work just cold water on my feet no bubbles no nothing. The women who done the treatment was sat in such an awkward position - on the step which lead to a box high up where I was sat on chair and was working on my feet in the air! She had to hold my feet with one hand while work on it with the other no foot table or anything I felt like I had to help and lift it a little bit it was such a waste of money on average it was about £5 more than the Asian places. On the plus side the women herself was very nice but sorry I won’t be returning.
I absolutely love my me time at York House. I have experienced the Dermaplane Facial which was pure bliss, my skin felt amazing for weeks and the facial was extremely relaxing. The mineral salt scrub is a fantastic treatment especially if you’re about to go on holiday, it left my skin feeling fabulous and was incredibly relaxing. I have also had the leg and bikini wax which was great and the results exceeded my expectations. I would recommend the treatments and staff are very welcoming, professional and skilled in their work. I am trying the massage next and looking forward to the relaxation.
I have been coming to York House salon for a long time and keep forgetting to leave a review even though I am always so ecstatically happy with the end result. Over time I have had skin treatments, facials massages and electrolysis alongside my regular lash extensions mani and pedicures. All of the staff here are lovely and excellent at their jobs. The owner Angela is fantastic and always makes sure that her clients are looked after and happy and it’s always service with a smile. Lucy who does my eyelash extensions is such a perfectionist at everything she does and is such a lovely young lady. I cannot recommend this beautiful salon enough for service and quality of products and treatments. ❤️ ooo and they have the best tanning sun beds around too w it b all new tubes
first used this salon after many years of my nails been ruined by Vietnamese, they introduced me to builder gel and now I have a full set of my own nails which are less bulky and much healthier, i now get my lashed permed and dyed, have fantastic facials and back massages alongside luxury pedicures as really do enjoy the relaxing side of the beauty treatments as really find it hard to totally relax. The salon also offers skin tag removal, electrolysis, waxing and other maintenance work we need to be smooth , can also grab a spray tan or a sunbed session , only £30 for 100 mins so really affordable to get a great all over base tan. got to say the owner and gals are really nice and will go out of their way to get what design or treatment you require, highly recommend.
I visited Lucy a couple of weeks ago and had an anti ageing facial and Turkish back massage. Both treatments were amazing, a lot of time and effort spent on the treatments by Lucy who is a very skilled therapist. Both treatments were well worth the cost and Lucy really does work hard to tailor the treatments to individual needs by establishing preferences of products, firmness of massage etc. I will be visiting regularly and have made more appointments for further back massages to get rid of stubborn knots, which Lucy worked wonders on, and for builder gel nails and lash extensions. My first time to the salon and I will be returning regularly. Lucy and her colleagues are all very friendly and helpful. Thank you
First time at York house, really impressed, I had the signature facial followed by an eyebrow wax and tint. Lucy was so professional and very friendly, I was impressed by how much you get for your £30 with the facial, the massage was lovely and my stubborn blackheads were almost entirely gone. Thought my eyebrows were going to be too dark but after a shower they were perfect. Booked in again immediately.
Angela is amazing at York house she’s helped me so much with my skin and genuinely understands my concerns. Staff are all so lovely very friendly and welcoming . Beautiful clean salon would highly recommend
This is a family run business who take great care of there customers it is on the main road though Handsworth leading to easy access in to Sheffield Meadowhall and also easy to get on the motorway At the end of Sheffield parkway great opening times and friendly atmosphere from arriving to leaving everyone welcomes you highly recommend 120%
