Following the purchase of my laminate flooring a couple of months ago, I chose carpet for my stairs, landing and two bedrooms. The finished job looks fantastic. Carpet has thick pile and is very luxurious to look at and walk on. Great price, great service. Thank you

Great customer service and very honest guy. I left my flat and gave them keys as had to go work. They fitted carpet and tidy the whole flat before leaving. Workmanship is very good and i was recommended best carpet and lino for my budget. Its hard to find good and honest tradesman now a days. Thank you so much. I have recently had flooring put down, the floor fitters were respectful and friendly, they done a great job. Charlotte is the lady that runs the shop, very nice lady. Thank you for a great service. Hayley
Not happy with the unprofessional approach once the very high deposit was payed ( that was my fault to agreeing to the high deposit) Hidden costs kept creeping up. Fitter and the shop seemed to be two different company. Was then told to pay fitter for some bizarre reason. Would never go there or recommend.
We went into the shop and picked a floor and provided a measurement of the area of our house to work on. The lady in the shop gave us a price and promised to send someone out to do the measurement. We also got a quote from another supplier with the same measurement and when they came to measure, they confirmed that the measurements was correct as provided. Unlike ATG flooring that then decided that my measurement was less and therefore the price will increase by 10% and later agree to reduce it to 5%. I had my doubts so I went home and measure it again and the measurement where still correct so I call to question it. The story now changed from wrong measurement to an excuse that Herringbone involves a lot of waste so the 5% increase on the original quote will stand. agreement. I wanted to support a small business and I even agreed to pay her a deposit of £2000 as requested even though that was 85% of the total cost. I knowingly agree all in good faith to support small business coming out of COVID-19 and also with the increase cost of gas and electricity. Initially she told me that I did not need beading because I already had skirting. On arrival to fit the floor, they now decided that I need beading and that will be an extra £100. Apparently wood laminate expands and they need to leave space for the expansion which sounds very suspiciously and not consistent to other information out there. Whenever the fitter inform me of another issue which was never discussed or brought up, ATG repeatedly said, is nothing to do with us, you need to take it out with the fitter. They seems not to realise that the fitter is also their responsibility as I did not just buy a floor from them. I paid for a service which include fitting regardless if they sub contract the fitting out, is still their responsibility. Am not sure if the lady at the shop lack knowledge, if the business itself lack knowledge or if is just poor business practice. You want to get a quote and you expect the quote to include all reasonable things that is associated with laying a floor like beading if you believe that to be a requirement with a laminate floor, shaving a door if you think we might need it, even if you not certain for sure but please explain it to the customer so they are aware and know what to expect. Don’t tell a customer that you will do something only to say you can’t do the same thing just because the fitter is not in agreement.
