   Just had my appointment with Maddy and couldn't be happier. I've not had my hair cut for over a year after a previous bad experience at another salon, so have been very wary of having it done. Maddy has restored my confidence, she really listened to what I wanted and was very good at advising at the same time, she has done a fantastic job and I absolutely love my hair for the first time in years.    After my hairdresser of 20 years retired, I was at a loss as to where to go. I eventually decided to go to Gary at Weldon Hair, I knew he had been in Wickersley for many years so must have been doing something right. I am so glad I did! I have a 'bob' haircut so its quite technical and Gary did a great job. Dare I say, even better than my old hairdresser! Very friendly staff too.

   As someone who really does not enjoy having their hair cut, I am always hugely relieved to find a hairdresser I like. Gary was recommended to me by a friend and I would happily do the same. He cuts and colours my hair beautifully, despite the fact that I rarely have a clue what I want him to do. I'm quite shy so I appreciate the fact he doesn't talk much, while still being friendly. And I'm really impressed that he has been in business, in the same location I believe, for 27 years or so. Got to be doing something right, eh? The whole team is nice and professional and the shop itself is clean and smart. A well-deserved 5 stars.
