Been coming here on and off for 15 years. Must say it improves each time. More stuff and still catering g for basic tent campers. Hot tub this visit was brill. 10/10
Tried to order cheese on toast at one minute past twelve today (Tuesday) to be told 'breakfast menu finished'. Asked for anything on toast, just simple fare for a hungry cyclist out on a ride. Offered 'toast with butter and jam'. And this was after being blatantly ignored by one woman behind the counter when I first walked in; she turned her back on me and walked away..... Had a similar experience in 2022 trying to order a bacon and egg bap to be told' sorry breakfast finished but you can have a full English breakfast'! Very poor. Suffice to say I won't be returning again and will let the cycling community know they aren't very cycling friendly on these experiences. Shame really as before it became 'ArCafe' it was on my list of regular cafe destinations. Would have happily spent £10-20 on a brunch dish to dine in but.......
Had a lovely carvery. Great view from the decking as the sun was setting. You can even have pizza delivered to your pitch.
Lovely cafe. Staff really friendly. Food tasty and reasonably priced. Service is quick. We had a few meals here during a recent stay at lady heyes caravan park. We ordered takeaway and ate in the restaurant. On all occasions we were extremely happy with the service and food.
