CLOSED FOREVER! Good riddance too since there was a group of 4 of us & their black female security guard pushed & shoved my mate around before tellin us too leave. We werent drunk & the place was empty! Facebook hasnt been updated in 3 months & all future nights cancelled. Deserved 2 go bust!
Went out with my big brother and friends and we had a blast! Great vibes and even greater music the DJ was surprisingly brilliant! Drinks were pricy though I spent like £27 on just two doubles… best advice is to have your pre’s but within reason as they are selective on the door.
I had such a good night the new security looked after us and the management were ace as well. The drinks were so cheap it was such an ease on my bank account. I will be back. Thank you so much to all the staff.
I think you need to have a conversation about hygiene with some of your new staff, there was an out right offensive smell coming from a staff member in the box office. New ‘ renovations’ have been made, the place now looks cheep and tacky. Overall an uncomfortable vibe as soon as we stepped through the door, will not be returning which is a shame as I used to be a regular.
Terrible music, expensive basic drinks, and filthy little “club”. Absolutely not worth the entry fee! It was empty on Friday night after midnight!
Security was very friendly and helpful, bar staff are nice as welll, Cuba was very friendly. Prices were not too bad. 10:30 was very quiet but pick up alot around midnight. Highly recommend
Used to enjoy this club. Bouncers are a disgrace . One female bouncer in particular used excessive force, which was not justified. I will never return after this horrible experience, I was extremely upset and my night was ruined. Bouncers are supposed to help you feel safe, it seems this is the opposite for Venue.
Underrated gem that me and my friends go to all the time!! Shoutout to Niamh and Charlotte who are lovely and friendly and we always have a chat whenever I come. They helped me looked after my friends in the past getting them water when they had too much to drink which I really appreciated. Other staff including bouncers are also friendly and never had a problem with anyone. Drinks are cheaper than other clubs in the city and (unlike most clubs) they will actually play songs you request. Music is always at least decent and picks up when its busy. They've got lots of seating areas to hang out and chat in between dancing as well as a photo booth! Love it here and always recommended it to people when they ask where to go clubbing.
Love Venue, great venue, great staff and the friendliest, most helpful doormen I’ve ever come across. If you want a night out in Manchester where you know you’ll be catered for, looked after and most importantly for a woman, safe, then Venue is a great option.
“Don’t be a d*ck” your website states. The irony when the bouncers are exactly that. Very arrogant and rude from the moment you step in for absolutely no reason. It’s a shame because it’s a nice little club and the music is better than anywhere else I’ve been in Manchester claiming to be indie!! Not sure if I’ll come back again unfortunately.
