My phone was stolen/misplaced at an Animalz night. The staff went to hell and back to make sure that it was retrieved, from searching every corner of the venue to letting me use a staff member's phone for Find My functions, for almost 2 hours. It's nice to see a venue that genuinely takes care of its clientele.

One of the very few locations around Gay Village that genuinely seems to cater to its LGBT audiences. Cruz has virtually no competition if you're looking for a late-night party. Big thanks to John and the bouncers for retrieving my belongings and genuinely taking care of me more often than they probably should!

Listen to the bad reviews. Got told to take a walk and get some water 2 times even though I was sober and then finally let in. I went to the toilet and not only saw people be physically and verbally attacked by the bouncers (male and female) but then had the same happen to me for no reason at all. When I asked why they made fun of me and threw me out onto the street where when waiting for my uber all I could hear was them bitching about me. Avoid at all costs. Do not give this place your money when other LGBTQIA+ venues actually hold up the inclusive standards.

Generally, not good. The place is really poorly managed (queues lasting far longer than they should have), the drink price information isn't accessible (they have one printed laminated A4 on a wall that's obscured) and when you get charged for your drink, you're met with an astronomical price. Save your money, save your time (unless you want to see a RuPaul queen in Manc, then just avoid drinking from the bar and make sure to get to the front otherwise you're not gonna see anything because it's a tiny stage and tall people couldn't care less about who is behind them)

From what I can see, a friendly environment for people (especially for special events) amazing service and friendly attitude. Lovely staff, lovely venue and just brilliant customer service. I want to thank Connor, Oliver, Shemas, Spencer, Winona and others for the event I attended 9th August. Thank you all for your amazing service today, the other times this event happens and in general. Keep on making your guests happy and for the fine times and you the laugh out loud moments!

Door staff are very rude and disregard gender status. It was very offensive to see them openly laugh at a friend who recently felt comfortable enough to share their gender identity. Should probs regard the recent reviews if you’re a trans person wanting to attend because they are definitely not trans friendly

Door staff very unprofessional. Never seen a door staff that physically swear and raise middle fingers at customers aggressively, this has happened on a few occasions, a tall big door staff there. Don't think cctv's work there or maybe they manipulate it, as the door staff is always confident when insulting customers. Don't think this venue welcomes all people. And we are suppose to be promoting equality and accepting everyone in the society, I wish people would practice what they preach. That door staff is not fit for purpose, door staffs should have an excellent customer service. Documentary someday would proof otherwise

(My review pertains exclusively to Cruz 101 as a venue for Drag Race viewing parties, it's decent for regular drag shows) Terrible acoustics so you can't even hear the episode, no subtitles which makes that issue even worse, the beam in the middle of the stage blocks some of the screen, and the screen itself has a pretty low resolution and a weird aspect ratio so is stretched unnaturally. The pre Drag Race performances were fun and worth the Β£6 alone, but I'd choose somewhere else for my next viewing party cause it made me leave 5 mins into the episode and watch it at home instead.

Would rate it 0 if I could. Me and my friends always come to gay village and have a great night out. Been to many other bars before coming here- was recommended it by someone we met. Bouncer was obnoxious, rude and asked us where we went previous to this (don’t know why this really mattered) then told us we weren’t β€˜gay enough for here’. What does that even mean??? Won’t ever even try here again absolutely awful. Time the bouncer gets a proper job

Went for a Drag show and it was amazing. Super intimate show wise, a few obnoxious people in the crowd but what can you do. Lovely drinks however relatively expensive.
