Very satisfied with Room 4 hair Salon at Woodfield Plantation, Balby. Jo is my stylist and is excellent. Being an older client, a lot of the other salons I have used over the years, seemed to be of the opinion that as I was elderly, and my hair was Grey, I wanted a ‘set’ style, and wasn't asked if I would like a change. When, at my first appointment I was asked by Jo, how I preferred to have my hair styled, I explained how I would like it, and she did a perfect job, (- I even got compliments from friends, that the style made me look a bit younger!) All the other Ladies are pleasant and always have a smile, nothing appears to be too much trouble for them, whatever style you want, short or long hair, you would have to be very hard to please, to not be satisfied at Room 4.! They also do Gel Nails, Manicures, and Massage. All the Services are at very fair competitive prices too,
Loved this salon! Went to get my hair dyed for the first time and the staff was so lovely in assisting me with advice and getting my hair to the colour I needed. I had previously used box dye however, the staff was amazing and helped get my hair the right shade regardless, an amazing experience and I would definitely go again!
I have been going to this salon for a very long time now and would recommend them to all my family and friends. All the staff are friendly and very welcoming and will do anything to help you come away feeling happy with their haircut/manicure/massage. They always manage to fit me in and if due to unforseen circumstances and the stylist I'm booked in with is no longer available they will always offer a solution so I have always been completely satisfied. If you are looking for a new salon please give them a try.
In response to Tylae close's review... am very sorry you feel so aggrieved by this experience that you felt compelled to write such a scathing review and post it literally everywhere. As was explained to you on the day, the stylist you were booked in with was unwell with a winter vomiting bug which had you contracted would have ruined your new year much more than slightly over grown hair. The staff who were working that day, which is a very busy day for us, were trying their best to deal with the situation. You were offered two other time slots which you declined. Having spoken to the staff I feel that your reaction to the unfortunate news was both unreasonable and out of proportion
Booked in to get my hair done for the new year a day in advance. Booked in for 12:30 as going away for the new year at 2:30 and got told that there's a 'problem' that they couldn't fit me in although I had made an appointment and it was written in their book. I'd avoid this place if you have a tight or busy schedule. Go somewhere else. Rude staff and dissatisfied with the service. Very poor.
