   We love Boons and Shelley. My daughters and I have our hair done by Shelley. She is always reliable, understands our expectations, and importantly, she delivers. Her cutting/styling skills are amazing. And, the environment, energy in the salon are always so positive and calming. We absolutely adore everyone working there. There are so many salons in Retford, for such a small town, but we cannot imagine going anywhere else.

   I’ve been having my hair cut at Boons for a number of years now. The standard of cut is always fantastic and people regularly ask me where I go to get such a good shape and style. The staff are always friendly and the premises is big, inviting and always clean. I’ve been today for the first time “post-lockdown” and they could not possibly have implemented anything more to adhere to guidelines and make customers feel safe, whilst still making it a relaxed and therapeutic experience. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and would recommend to anyone. Thank you, Boons!

   What a gem, this hair salon is fantastic, great atmosphere, lovely big building, friendly staff, my hair was cut by Clive, he cut my hair exactly how I imagined it hopefully would look, his skill and eye for detail are amazing, took lots of time, lovely and chatty, and his little dog Ruby is so adorable, From entering the reception with a lovely welcome to having my hair washed then cut was best experience of any hairdressers I've been to. Will go back forever now. Thanks Clive and Team.

   I have been using Boons for nearly 25 years. My parents brought me here as a 5 year old and I have not stopped going and now I take my son here. A family run hairdressers that has been going for the length they have is hard to come by. The staff are amazing they do exactly what you want or if you dare they will do exactly what they think will suit!!! You leave feeling relaxed. The coffee is great and according to my son the hot chocolate is the best in retford!!! Great atmosphere, you get exactly what you pay for which is a first class service.
