   Don't go here for haircolours needing technical skills. I thoroughly explained (using the salon colourchart) the two colours of hilights I wanted and where I wanted them to be placed. The procedure left me with a white blonde fringe,rather than the warm gold I had requested,and warm gold in the back where an ash tone was supposed to be. I immediately told the stylist that I was not happy.She carried on cutting for another customer and told me I should come back to have it "corrected" I phoned the salon the following day and told them that I would be going elsewhere for correction and requested a refund of £25 of the £51 I had paid,to go towards that cost. I was then contacted by the salon to say that they would correct free of charge (how generous of them) BUT their policy was no refunds! Would I go back there? Absolutely not ! Very unprofessional and expensive.

   Friendly, helpful and listen to what you want. Fab with adults and children! I always enjoy the welcome from the well behaved salon dogs and always leave happy, whether it be from a hair cut or a wax. The vibe is always friendly and caring in Porter and Browns.

   Today I went in for the first time. I only went in for a trim at a reasonable price of £19 for a dry cut done by Helen. Honestly it's a hidden little gem. The decor is very chic for both men and women. They do provide other services for men and women, lists available on their website. The staff were very warm and friendly. I was very pleased with the cut and service. Definitely recommend!

   I went there to get my eyebrows waxed as well as my upper lip. Natalie is the lady I see and as I've been a couple of times now I don't need to tell her what I want as she has always remembered. Natalie is really friendly and does a really good job, nothing is too much trouble. I am happy here so will continue to go. They do hairdressing and have a separate area as a barbers which is fab as it's geared towards men so they won't feel intimidated in going. It's lovely and clean and the staff gave all been quite chatty and friendly.

   I'm posting this for my Mum. My Mum had her hair cut and styled and was extremely happy with the result. The salon is fresh and new and stylish, products professional, staff friendly and caring. Marianne - on finding out my Mum had a bad back - offered to wash her hair standing over the sink so it wasnt so painful. Very thoughtful. The cut was great and exactly as my Mum asked and styled beautifully. Would highly recommend. I myself had a fantastic back massage while I waited for my Mum. Comfortable massage table, nice warm room, soothing music, really, really good massage with the level of pressure I asked for. Marvellous! We will definitely be back. Would highly recommend.
