I've been bringing my 3 boys now aged 3, 8 and 10 to Chris at The Barber Pad for the last 5 years, along with their Dad. We always receive a warm welcoming service. I can't recommend The barber pad enough for families. Chris is especially caring with my autistic 8 year old, we wouldn't go anywhere else.

My Partner has been going to Chris for his skin fade for many years and never had any problems, always walk away so pleased! I’ve also been using Chris since my little lad was 2 year old he’s been giving him skin fades! He’s so calm and patient especially with children. I couldn’t recommend him enough!
My son has been here a few times and generally receives what he wants, cut to a good standard. He can also attend on his own and it has been great for him to have that little bit of independence. However, the last two appointments have fallen short of expectations. The first poor visit, despite booking, Chris was not in the shop and his colleague completed the cut, the execution was not up to usual standard at all, but things happen and there may have been a genuine reason Chris was unavailable so we booked again. The second poor visit occurred just yesterday. Admittedly my son was running slightly late to his appointment, but if his usual fade style could not have been achieved, I would have rather rebooked than ending up taking him elsewhere to have his haircut completed. The picture shows the second haircut he left with.
Best place for any sort of haircut! Chris is the man to sort you out. I highly recommend his professional standard. I always come out of there feeling fresh
Chris has been cutting both mine and my son’s hair for the past 6 years and honestly would never go anywhere else. Always a great service. Clean barber shop, with nice little touches (drinks and sweets for the kids etc). The slightly out of town location is actually a bonus with easy access and loads of free parking. Booking is easy on Booksy and he is very accommodating!
