I visited Argos on Hounslow High Street one Saturday to pick up a vacuum cleaner I’d ordered online. Getting to the store was easy and it’s conveniently located in town centre. Staff at the pick‑up desk were helpful — they fetched my item from the back and I was out in under ten minutes. The store had a wide selection of homeware, electronics and toys, so it felt like a good “everything under one roof” stop. On the downside: while I waited, a few customers ahead of me seemed frustrated with delays — retrieving items from upstairs can take a bit of time. Overall I left satisfied: got what I wanted without fuss, and price was reasonable. I’d come back when I need household or tech stuff.
The most irresponsible people I have ever seen. I bought a wardrobe that was defective and returned it, but even after a month, the money has not been refunded to my account. I made three purchases, and each time, the item was not delivered, yet they sent a delivery confirmation email. I have called them ten times, and each time I spent more than an hour on the phone. Unfortunately, they have no work ethics at all.

Very disappointed with your service as I have paid £488.95- for a Air Purifier and you suppose to deliver to me on Saturday, but yesterday Saturday you did not make the delivery and just no show and no call, So I went Argos store to see what is going on with the Air purifiers today Sunday , your staff called the delivery department for me, and the delivery department only say want to refund the money to me and I need to wait for 40 hours to get the money back with no reason, I told her I was so disappointed and I don't accept the refund offer with no reason, at the end the delivery department told your staff at the store that they will deliver the Air Purifier tomorrow to me and will send me an email to confirm, I left the store and wait for hours and still have not received any confirm delivery email from Argos yet!!! I hope you will deliver the Air Purifier to me tomorrow and I think it is wasting time to make any purchases at Argos in the future.
Argos also known as the laminated book of dreams has a store in Hounslow and for the first time in almost a decade, I ventured in. Oh Argos. Your decline looks like it was a painful experience. Hazard tape everywhere. No more cheap jewellery, Elizabeth is dead. No more pencils or pens to take home. No more laminated books of dreams. The Argos experience is truly dead.
Had to return and exchange a TV due to technical problems. ASHA was extremely, delightfully, very helpful , polite throughout the process . Always smiling too. Great customer service from herself and the team . No problems.
