Had a Full English Breakfast here this morning and what can I say? Absolutely beautiful food and highly recommended! £9 including a drink plus the service was excellent! 10/10

Great find , which was recommended to me . The food is lovely and very fairly priced . We ate together and had a full English and my girl had coffee and cake . We both said we would come again and can fully recommend . Service with a smile too .

We went there for a full English breakfast. It’s a traditional looking café which was part of the appeal. It seems to be run by a family. They are very friendly and polite. The price of the breakfast was very cheap, £6 which included tea/coffee and three rounds of toast. Too much for us. The food was good and very reasonably priced. I hope they are charging enough. The place has been there for many years let’s hope it keeps going. Some of the customers were getting takeout food, Some were local regulars. Everybody was treated with courtesy.
The Reading Room has a comprehensive menu featuring all the usual café fare from jacket potatoes to hot breakfast muffins and cakes, with the All Day Breakfast top of the list. I ordered up and took a seat. My breakfast arrives within just a few minutes and it’s was "spot on" – good quality ingredients, cooked to perfection and served with a smile by the owners father I believe. The Reading Room ticks all the boxes as to what a good cafe should be; great food, friendly atmosphere. And if I'm too be honest I would put it up there in my top 3 breakfast cafe I've been too. Quite a hidden little gem
