We stumbled into here yesterday after visiting the model shop next door and loved it so much we went back today with friends! Super approachable and friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed and more, they even made additional changes or suggestions to accomodate our children, like letting us know the cream tea was the perfect size for two children to share and they even split the sandwich into 2 separate flavours to accommodate their fussinesses! There was games to play and the children really enjoyedntheir time there. Add to that so much of the food is completely home made like the cakes and they couldnt of been tastier, this is a gem and definitely somewhere we will try and go as often as we can now that we have found it! Thank you again for great service and food!

By chance we found this cafΓ© and how lucky were we? Great friendly service, amazing home-made food in a 70s surrounding. Home-made quiche is delightful and the coffee also was fresh and tasty. Fully Wheelchair accessible and dog friendly. Brilliant.

An amazing afternoon tea at The Waiting Room. Iβd booked for 4 of us to celebrate my friendβs birthday! A variety of sandwich fillings were offered. We selected egg mayo & prawn with Marie sauce. Home made cake selection included lemon drizzle, banoffee, raspberry & white chocolate, Victoria sponge or lemon meringue. Large, warm sultana homemade scones with jam & clotted cream topped the cake stand. The best scones Iβve ever tasted! Unlimited tea and coffee were available. Carol the owner took the time to explain dairy alternatives to my lactose intolerant friend. The afternoon tea was excellent value, delicious food, generous portions. Carol & Emmy (waitress) ensured we had a wonderful experience. Donβt hesitate visit the Waiting Room for exceptional food and service.

Gorgeous afternoon tea, served and made by lovely staff. It is extremely reasonable, and you get a full sandwich, a large slice of cake of your choice, and a huge scone with jam and cream. Then, on flowing tea or coffee Β£14 PP. Absolutely gorgeous food and a lovely afternoon.

Fantastic little cafΓ© that's become a regular place for me. This afternoon they hosted an afternoon tea party for my 9yo birthday with the most beautiful assortment of sandwiches and cakes, exactly to our preferences, and gave us take-out boxes for leftovers. I've had breakfast, lunches and cakes galore for over a year and not once been disappointed. It's a relaxed, quirky space. You can get custard with your cake. Buttery mince pies at Christmas. They're friendly to kids. Dogs welcome. Seats outside. Very reasonable and affordable prices.

A hidden gem. Tucked away up a side street in New Brighton, this unique little cafe shares its premises with a model shop selling model railway and self assemble models All the food is freshly prepared and the latte is lovely and strong. I was told that they source the beans locally. Lovely experience. Thoroughly recommend (2nd visit)
