Served by Georgina today and she was excellent. Very quickly exchanged a watch I wanted and found me the one I wanted to get within minutes.
We came two times the customer service is excellent. There was a girl called "Gajeetha"she was very kind and helpful and her customer service is espically good.
In the 07/02/2025, at 7:30 pm I went to PURLEY WAY ARGOS I ask the cashier to place an order for me she was grumpy and so rude she doesn’t want sell for me she asked me to pay cash when I accept she said I must learn how to use the machine to order! When I told her you supposed to help the customer she said it’s not her job when I asked her about her name to complain she said that; she is the manager and she refused to give me her name. I went to other branch they said she could order today for you and you can collect it tomorrow!!!! She was racist when she finished from me, she going outside her desk to serve other customers with smile! Just because the are the same colour of her skin And I have proof of that. It’s just shame to meet those people in the UK
The Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have been using this Argos since 2010 it was located in a separate building those days we received the best customer service ever since it’s moved into the purely way Sainsbury's it’s all collapsed, as a regular customer recently I’ve been to the same branch and try to return an item and get a refund, but the people were serving me representing themselves are managers and behaving rude and said nothing wrong with this product and you opened the item ..then what is the purpose you guys offering us a 30 days money back guarantee In first place?. I never recommend this Argos, people be aware.
Just had to collect some toys for Christmas, the worst customer service I've ever had. Her name was Ellie, Argos you can do better so many hard working polite people out give them Ellie job.
By far the worst Argos iv ever been to, The staff are nice but the manager is really rude and just has no common sense. As long as you're buying your a very good customer, the moment you want to return something... uh oh.. Returning an item here?, be prepared to be made to feel like a criminal with only an invasive full body search missing. Upon returning an item, expect to hear the below phrases from the manger: You opened the box and turned it on - how else am I going to see the item? You could have replaced the item with a fake from China... excuse me? You could have bought it anywhere else and tried returning it here... so now I'm committing fraud? Warning, you will be classed as an aggressive customer if you even think of standing up for your rights. In the end you call customer service who resolve the matter better for you than attending this store. Absolutely pathetic no customer care, not worth the hassle, better off going to other competitors.
While I was at Sainsburys, I discovered an Argos on the corner. I love the location because it is convenient to pick up something when you shop at Sainsburys. The staff there and friendly and very helpful.
Great car park - don't stay longer than 4 hours though as you'll get a ticket through the post. The camera works. Such a large store and has almost everything there. So handy having it near the office.
