Bought a Groupon voucher and booked an appointment. Vicky cancelled it and let me know she can no longer honour the appointment. I tried to book another date using their business calendar but nothing was available. After about a week she finally replies to tell me that she can't see me at all except for Thursdays and Saturdays but she can't do Saturdays until April. But my voucher expires 7th April. Although she did say she could see me even after the voucher expires, I am not sure how that is possible since I redeem a code with an expiry date. Overall, will not book again. Should have read the other reviews before bothering to book. Cannot comment on the service since that is non-existant.

Fabulous! So pleased with my nails, the best they have ever looked, so much choice, great advice, would highly recommend

Extremely dissapointed. Spent weeks trying to get an appointment with no luck; left voicemail, messages and tried calling multiple times. Eventually went down and managed to book face to face with a nice lady. However, the woman who did the pedicure for my dad was very unfriendly and sometimes rude, rushed through the pedicure didn't bother to trim the nail as it was "too short" or clean up the skin around the nail bed. Procedure in total lasted about 15 mins with next to no difference between the "professional" pedicure and washing and creaming your feet at home. Would not recommend!!

I bought a groupon voucher for Hollywood lashes for Β£23. According to the website, the full price of this is Β£85 (which baffles me). My eyelashes were okay but to be honest I was a little disappointed. You don’t get an option of what lashes you want and mine didn’t look that great or noticeable. On top of that the service wasn’t that great at all- the woman who did my eyelashes wasn’t very friendly, neither was she to another potential customer that came through her door. I’m surprised, because you’d think the reason they are offering groupon vouchers is to gain customers who want to return.

I'm shocked at all the negative reviews. I discovered this salon via Groupon and will continue to go back. I've had shellac nails which lasted 3 weeks... possibly more. No chips. My Hollywood lashes lasted 2 weeks looking great!

Booked online because that's the only option with this salon - their email link doesn't work, and the phones go to messaging. Their on-the-hour appointments were showing ALL available. I then left phone messages about 2 treatments for which I had Groupon vouchers. No response. Two days before my first treatment was booked for, a woman rang to inform me that the appointment I'd booked was not available, and suggested another time slot, which I couldn't do. This happened on a previous appointment, which had been booked prior to a holiday. I booked online, but the day before my scheduled appointment, I was told that there were fully booked that day, and suggested another day. As I'd be going away that day, I refused it. I contacted Groupon, who contacted the salon, and by some miracle, they could fit me in on the date I'd booked for! I declined. Deciding to give them a second chance, I made the booking for Hollywood lashes, but they let me down again. I don't know how this business keeps going, but I know they give preference to their regular clients, even if it means they have to cancel a Groupon client. If they don't want voucher clients, they shouldn't offer Groupon deals. I will not be returning to this salon, along with many other people who have had similar experiences.

Groupon gone bad. They say you get what you pay and here it's bad customer service and a poor quality manicure. On arrival I was greated, if you could say that, by someone who could barely bother to get off the phone. The nail technician, whilst working on another person then asked me to put my nails in the soaking bowl. After a while, I asked how long it was going to be and said that I wasn't happy about putting my fingers in solvent which were now turning white at this point. She replied that this was their usual removal technique and she would scrape off the polish. It's not a technique I've ever experienced before, it seems to be a means of getting as many customers through as possible. Before she continued with the polish she took the money for the removal, it's usual for payment to be taken after a decent service has been provided, not before, they have obviously had complaints and refusals to pay. Why bother with cuticle tidying up when you can simply paint over them! Although the polish was a nice colour it wasn't Shellac, which I had been misled to believe it would be on the voucher. Needless to say, I won't be returning and will be complianing to Groupon about the misleading sale of Shellac. I feel sorry for the technicians who are obviously forced to book in as many appointments as possible and to rush through the procedure. I've had bad manicures before, but this is the worst possible.
