We went this morning to buy our grandson his first proper cricket bat. James was absolutely wonderful with George , engaging him in all aspects of the purchase and fully explaining the differences in the bats and how to look after it . It was such an enjoyable experience for him and made him feel so special which we gratefully appreciate. . He also showed us the cricket centre which is an amazing space. great experience, would recommend Cricket lovers for indoor practice, and they got variety of good cricket stuff at shop.
Took my daughter to buy a bat and gloves. Great selection of gear and really competitive prices. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. We were even taken on an impromptu tour of the netting facilities - really impressive.
Facility is amazing but staff is not friendly and rude,few weeks ago we have hired the pitch with machine and paid £30 for an hr,this week they charged £33 for the same,also it’s not mentioned anywhere that you have to put pads on while using bowling machine,I think it only applies to Asians,as we have been told by staff if they found next time they have right to say leave the indoors to us,also it’s not mentioned anywhere that we have to clear after our session,been told we have to clear put the balls in the bag before we leave as the other person who have hired will loose out on time if they have to collect all the balls,it’s understandable but what if the machine is not even plugged in,not ready to use when it’s our time to go on nets,still paid £33.00 for an hr. Not happy at all after end of session.
Used the nets a few times and always in condition and good prices. Staff in the shop are very helpful and friendly. Novice to playing cricket and member of staff very kindly help me select the right helmet at a good price.
