Called for collection of two large breakfasts - the quality of the food was top notch and a very generous portion size. The girls that served me the food were very polite and attentive as well.
Nice food, lovely staff, have been twice now and had no problems at all. The baby chino is great for little ones. It's always been clean and tidy. Not much parking outside but plenty of pay and display surrounding it.
My Nephew and his Wife booked it for afternoon tea for Christening party. The food was delicious, staff friendly and premises clean and cosy. They even prepared special boxes for the children (food and colouring items), and for Vegan and gluten free guests as well.
Ordered two breakfasts. Feel like a bit more could have been provided. Plus I had requested no beans yet still received them. Luckily it's purely due to taste rather than allergy requirements. Only other issue would be that due to the varnish on the tables, they are always sticky and so crumbs and hair get left behind on them
My girlfriend and i and was told that not all items on the brunch menu which is between 9am to 4pm were available we were told that we could have a large breakfast but we could not have the small breakfast where is the sense in that ? The chef would have had to cook the same amount of ingredients for two small breakfasts as a large it seems to me the owners are trying to up sell rather than get repeat customers. We certainly will not be returning to this establishment again
Absolutely beautiful hot chocolate, marshmallow toasted is incredible. I also have the avocado on toast with 2 poached eggs. The best brunch. Thank you
First time visiting for breakfast after hearing good things. Firstly, staff were lovely and very attentive, bringing menus and a highchair out without us having to ask. Secondly, the food and drinks arrived quickly and we're all well presented and of a great quality, especially for the price. We had a breakfast barm, a Welsh rarebit and a portion of blueberry pancakes. Only negative comment on the food is that I would've like to see blueberry in the pancakes themselves rather than a topping but we enjoyed regardless Price was low to middle for the area, with the standard being better than places with a similar price. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again.
We enjoyed a great lunch at the Hoghton Coffee Lounge. The burger was extremely tasty and hit the spot. The staff were friendly. The first beer I had was cloudy but that was quickly remedied. If you are looking for a burger and beer near the train station then this is a great place to visit
