Argos… where are your staff? I stood for 15 minutes waiting for any staff to appear. No one on the shop floor at all for long periods of time. Long queue formed behind me. Given we’re in the run up to Christmas you would think Argos would employ more staff!

2 members of staff working on a weekend is insanity. Queue out the door, 25 minute wait having ordered online

I bought a desktop hot plate and used it a few times and it broke down and I used it five or six times and when I looked it was broken and I bought it and it went and I replaced it. On 03/01/22025 there was a woman from India or Pakistan, I don't know where she was from, she took the pain box, she looked to the right and to the left, then we don't replace it, should you laugh or cry, she left me there, everything is messy, she looks at another customer, then a black man came from behind and immediately took it, changed it and gave it back, he said don't bring it back, he got angry and mad as if it was your father's place, I was very upset, you will never buy anything from there again, may it be the end of it

Firstly I’m astonished that a main Argos store does not have automatic doors considering people need to come in and out with large items. But that wasn’t even the main issue. I was at the store yesterday around 6:30pm and the staff were the most unhelpful and rude staff I’ve ever encountered. I had a tv that was faulty that I needed to return within the 30 day period and I was dealt with in such an unprofessional and negative manor. The staff just act like so uninterested and unbothered. Once the exchange was made and I was waiting for the replacement one of the male staff members was dragging a £400 tv along the floor from one side of the box when it was easily liftable, I’m astonished that such an expensive and delicate item was dragged along the floor from stockroom to shop floor like it was an empty box. Finally the cherry on the cake was having 3 members of staff without any customers stand there and watch me for a few minutes struggle to open the doors while trying to navigate a 50inch tv out the front door. They all watched me struggle and not one of them offered to even hold the door open. Disgusting

Shout-out to Dikesha for excellent customer service. My Fitbit kept disconnecting and she was kind enough to understand the issue but also solved it immediately by offering a return.

This is not of the store itself as the staff theree have been fine with me. However I orderd a Chruistams tree form Argos and as it dod not arrive I have just been notifed I would be refunded how I stayed in on the day it was due, then the next day as Yodel the company delivering said to do so, Then Yodel claimed to have deliverd ot to a nigthbour, The good thind is I have beed refunded but the face that I stayed in two whold days before Christmas and that I was initially not belived when I said nthe tree did not arrive , howver apar from my refund ntohing for the considerable inconvenience I was put to. As I said nthe staff here are fine from my point of view bit if I were you I would not trust argos to deliver a product anymore

This particular Argos on the high street has been there for decades and decades. It has become part of the high Street but with the developments in online shopping it is difficult to know whether this store Will survive or not. Sainsbury's who owns Argos have begun to move some of the high Street shops in to the Sainsbury's supermarket. No doubt the staff are helpful. This store is not as busy as it used to be all those decades ago because of online shopping. There is local pay and display parking available if you need it but it's not huge.

Always friendly service. Credit to the management and teams here, I’ve visited several times and everyone is helpful. The stock levels are good. Parking is usually possibly in Tesco’s.

Incredibly bad customer experience and absolutely inefficient staff. Paid for my pre ordered item, which showed ready to collect within 5 minutes of purchase, then disappeared from display and only got delivered 20 minutes after purchase. This place really needs a better management because such service is unacceptable.
