Shameful incident. Staff were curt, rude and offhand to the point of near abuse. They may be busy, but that's no excuse for a complete failure of customer service. Took my business elsewhere.

I purchased a soup maker on 8 November as a Christmas present. I noticed today that there was only a 30 day exchange/ refund policy. I called the store today and explained that I had purchased the item on 8 November. I was told not to worry as I had until 31 January 2026 because of Christmas. I took the item back today because my daughter did not want it. I did not wait until after Christmas. The manager at the Bromley branch was rude and arrogant. She did not believe what I had been told. The assistant I spoke to on the phone confirmed what she had said to be but the manager told her off in front of me so she changed her story. I was given my full refund and told it was a gesture of goodwill. Well,I am sorry Robert dyas, all good will has gone. I will not be visiting your store again . You need to train your manager how to be a good manager and how to behave with customers and staff.

It's not often I leave a review on a high street store, in fact I don't think I ever have! I've recently moved house so had a lot to buy from here. They have absolutely EVERYTHING! I'd like to give a shout out to Milita and Muskan whose customer service was second to none. They were beyond helpful and went above and beyond to help me. A truly great shopping experience, thank you!

Somewhat more expensive compared to where you can purchase such items else where but staff are always helpful and friendly!! Store is always clean, and always such a variety of DIY items there. Staff tend to keep you to yourself which I prefer, because I'm one of those if I need help - I'll ask for it. Do like collecting points for the Robert Dyas card too, which I have saved on my phone wallet.

A lifesaver now Wilko's have closed. Bizarre experience yesterday though. I'd bought a silly present, reduced to £1 on clearance. Rang through the till at £2. Staff member with more facial tattoos than customer service skills basically accused me of putting a fake price sticker on - "anyone could have stuck that on" then we had to wait for his colleague to confirm the price. All for the sake of £1, when I was doing them a favour buying something they were clearly finding hard to shift. The customer is always wrong at Robert Dyas.

Did not have some basic 3 core electrical cable in stock, which is as basic as it gets, staff seemed disinterested. Prices high as well.

The staff in Robert Dyas in Bromley on Tuesday 14th September 2021 in the morning were helpful and kind. Giving a friendly welcome and taking time to look for specific items. The female Customer Advisor on the first floor was particularly efficient and kind as she helped try to find some accessories for the bathroom. The store had a vast range to choose from at competitive prices and is clean and tidy. Please help to support the local community by shopping local. It is most welcome to have that standard of social interaction.Thank you to everyone in Robert Dyas. In addition to my review last year I reiterate the positive feedback following my visit to Robert Dyas in Bromley on Thursday 24th February 2022. It is nice to be in a store where the members of staff are willing and able to help with a variety of questions. I had an eclectic mix of items on my shopping list and managed to purchase all of them at reasonable prices. A member of the team named Scott was particularly helpful by finding the correct and most suitable light bulbs. The topic is all a mystery to me therefore appreciated the assistance but also importantly the time to engage in a conversation. Keeping the High Street open does have benefits and is part of the local community. The cost of losing such a service is too high in a variety of ways. Thank you to everyone in Robert Dyas.

I only popped into this shop because of a deal on ear buds which I really needed. I must say that I was very impressed with the service that I got and with some of the items they sell, I will continue going there from now on.
