   Really a terrible experience overall. Howdens made multiple mistakes in our design and delivery, with missing fittings, no survey being done and therefore incorrect measurements and a sink that could never have been fitted with our worktop. Despite all these errors, Howdens accuse me of being a liar and have charged me money for items returned, which couldn't be reused, items that should never have been provided in the first place. Errors I can understand, as everyone makes mistakes, but it's the way they were dealt with which upset me. Whilst in dispute, howdens make the fitters pay and essentially hold me to ransom as a result, meaning I had to pay just so the fitter can continue to trade. There is no sympathy from howdens, no consideration for us, just accusations and pressure which is the reason for this review. Awful experience end to end.

   I would like to let people know about my really bad experience with Howdens! Shaun one of the Assistant Managers designed my Kitchen Island for me. I wanted it small enough so I could just sit 3 people around it. He designed it in 5 minutes(then blaming me that it was too big??) So much so when my builder finally checked it, the cupboards couldn't open. Shown on the plans!! Then, Before my builder had checked etc I had to pay them. Next minute they delivered it into my small business(Hair Salon) which was full of clients. (health and safety issue) The men that delivered the Island were very inconsiderate. They just barged into the business with all the big kitchen pieces nearly knocking a client out with the wooden work top. They didn't give us an option of where we would like the island to be stored they just put it anywhere they wanted. We then had to move all the parts ourselves and I had to pay to store it in garage. When they finally came to pick up the island to be returned Shaun said I had to pay £150 to them for pickup/storage at their warehouse. The whole Island had been stored and not touched. Shaun was very rude on the telephone and said they had already halfed the amount for me! I feel robbed I would recommend to anyone not buying anything from this store They are rude and unhelpful. They still haven't sent my money back to me 5 days later.

   Best Howdens branch there is! Absolutely thrilled with my kitchen. The quality is superb. From design to delivery everything was perfect. Would highly recommend Sevenoaks Howdens. Everything was delivered on time and fitted exactly to plan and at a very good price too.
