It's all good until you try to return a faulty item. According to this store manager it's fine when bottles fall out of the rucksack on heads of your fellow hikers when you scramble. While gladly this store is closing, I have no doubt blacks will reemploy this wonderful understanding woman.
Beware of buying from Blacks. Nothing wrong with their wares per se but they do not accept returns. And they won't tell you this - you only find out when you try to actually do it.
First time visit here yesterday good range of clothing got what we needed and a little extra could of grabbed more but running out of minutes left for parking. Staff great good choice on items with sizes. Will be back

Don't be fooled by the current 60% off signs in the window. It's "up to" 60% and most offers are the same as available on line. That aside, okay range of low- to mid-level outdoor kit.

Always very friendly staff and a good stock right in the centre of town. Always good deals on. This has been my place to go for camping gear. Got some cool fell running trainers as well. They do a student discount and give you money off of you spend big amounts. Bought a tent here too.
