Very unsatisfied with the service I received. When I entered I wasn’t made to feel welcome. I sat down for my acrylics to be put on and then once finished I had to wait 35 minutes for my acrylics to be painted over. I was not advised of the wait time when I arrived. I then showed a picture of the nails I would like and was told that the nails would be £48.00 (this price was not advertised anywhere in the shop) as they had a small flower design on one of the nails. I wasn’t willing to pay this so settled for French tips which were £35. The nail tech said he was happy about this because he got to do an easier design. The nail tech who I assume was the manager was very persistent with cleanliness, while this is great, it didn’t work out in my favour as the particular staff member moved my phone and bag without my permission several times. The nail tech also pulled my chair back while I was sat on it when tidying up. After my nails were finished (after the long time I spent in there) I paid via bank transfer to the company and one of the staff members proceeded to look at my phone while I was on my mobile banking to make sure I had made payment. They could’ve simply checked there own bank account to see payment had gone through. I felt very uncomfortable in the store and must say the customer service was very poor!
Me and my best friend Megan go to 5 star nails regularly and the service is excellent the staff at the salon are absolutely lovely and never fail to make you feel welcome and cared for, the prices are affordable and well worth the quality you'd expect.. my technician was Lee he's absolutely lovely and so kind and his nail art is phenomenal, he's very neat and professional and his art is to perfection I would definitely recommend 5 star nails to anyone as they never fail to make mine and my friends nails look absolutely beautiful 10 out of 10! 5 star nails your absolutely brilliant
Had my nails done here twice and really thought it was good quality, however, they charge more than their advertised prices and when I had my nails taken off (£15 which is £6 more than advertised and more than other local nail places charge) they didn't soak them at all. Nails aren't fully off! I don't think I'd return for this reason.
I have had my nails done today and love them. Very professional the lady showed me one nail complete to make sure I was happy with the design before continuing to do the rest. Would 100% recommend.
